we've known each other for a long time, we're a junior now in high school, but i dont have any classes with her. i like her, but i dont know if she likes me back. she is smart, while i'm not that smart, and im kinda small and skinny but we're the same height about and i like to play sports especially basketball, and she likes basketball too, (i think). its hard for me to talk to her. and im a really shy person, so i dont talk much......we barely talk....couple times when we walk pass each other, i would sometimes say "hi", but not all the time. ...she's also in a soccer team and plays soccer....im her friend in myspace, and i dont know what to say to her either in myspace or at school...and im afraid im gonna say something stupid when i talk to her.....what should i say to her?

Forget about yourself......... whether or not you'll say the right thing and impress her. So what? lol Your thoughts are on yourself too much. Get the focus off of yourself and on to her. Notice something about her that you like and compliment her on it. If you and her find things to talk about on myspace, then take note of it and discuss it some more when you see her. So, jump in and "converse;" how can you learn to communicate if you don't communicate? You learn from your mistakes. That's the only way. As far as friendships go.

It doesn't really matter what you say (as long as it's not rude). Be yourself!!! Just make sure you start talking to her more!
