Ok.I met a wonderful man 2 1/2 yrs ago and we fell madly in love.On our 37th day 2gether he took me to our fav place & asked me to be his wife.I said yes!Since then our situation has virtually remained unchanged.We were both still married to others(but long separated) and needed to obtain divorces.I got mine a year and a half later while he stated that she was giving him trouble.Then at the 2 yr mark I went to the courthouse to check, since it is public info, & found that he was granted a divorce 2 weeks after I was.I've asked why he bothered to ask for my hand while seemingly he wasn't prepared to marry me & he stated that he's nervous.Well,we still don't even live together and I'm tired of the holdup.He's good looking & has cash, while I'm HOT and broke.We each have kids who r teens.He declares his undying love 4 me & says he intends 4 things to change but can't say when.O Brother! I dont like the situation at all but love him with all my heart.Stuck in a bad place. Give me ur thots.

He does love you!!!!! If he didn't he would have been long gone? You two have a good thing, why is marriage a big deal? Can you just live together? Have you asked him that? Are you sure his family isn't giving him s***? Is he waiting for his kid to graduate, and then you two can be together? These are all possibilities you need to look at, if cash is the only reason you are staying with him, then move on.....there are plenty of guys w/ cash in the world.

I understand your concerns but now things really are not looking good for you. I think you crossed the trust barrier. I am sure he had his reasons regardless of how petty they may be. As long as you are together be greatful and hope that you two are both faithful to each other. But m thoughts are that he is probably stinging from his divorce and just hesitant moving to the next big commitment.
Personally, I would avoid all discussion of the topic for now and try to earn his trust back and in time he will ask.

You caught him in one lie how many more haven't you caught yet. You say your hot, well how many more years do you have left to be considered hot before men stop looking and it gets a little harder as the years go by. He is getting what he wants from you why should he marry you. Cut him off from everything tell him it's not working out and you are seeing other guys watch how fast he comes around. If he doesn't then you had nothing to lose after all.

It sounds to me like he's avoiding making a committment for some reason, maybe he wants to give it time. The question is, can you wait until he's ready to spend the rest of his life with you? If you can't wait any longer, you need to tell him. If you're not living together as you say, then I would try to be patient with him and enjoy your time together. God bless!

Get out. He started out with lies, it will end with lies. Let him know that you fele like it will never happen and that you are no longer going to play this game. Tell him you are ending the engagement and will be accepting dates with other men. When he gets his mind staight he can call but, you may not be available. You obvioulsy love him more than he loves you. I am so sorry that you have to go through this.

Don’t allow someone else to dictate your self worth! He is having the best of both worlds. He can be with her and have you on the side. As long as you allow him to manipulate and control you he will! A good looking man with money…Hmmmm….are you sure you’re the only one? Who know who else he has on the side. Bring yourself up from this, bring back your self worth, and if you say your HOT then you can always get someone else, who will respect and treat you right.
