Okay, I REALLY liked this girl, all of her freinds (we meet through common freinds) say that she is the NICEST girl ever. AND shes cute, AND doesn't ever seem to have a boyfriend. that is REALLY rare ESPECIALLY where I live. Most women are compleat bitches, even the ugly ones. but this girl is just cute, hell my freinds say that If I think shes hot I must have low standards, so it worked out great, Im REALLY and LEGITIMATLY attracted to her for both looks and personality.
heres the problem, I started to see more of her after coming off of a bad "situation" i had pursued the same girl all thogh middle and HS, she was a slut, but my eyes were blinded by love, it was just bad, she kept lying to me, cancelling dates whenever she agreed to my advances, she even told me she had another date to prom WHEN I WAS AT THE ******* DOOR IN MY TUX WITH THAT DAMN FLOWER FOR HER
it was really stupid and a waste of my life, but anyway
i was talking with some freinds and another girl mentioned that her boyfriend cheated on her, since I was in the middle of a neigh suicidal depression, i said (without realizing the girl I liked now was there) that if a girl ever cheated on me I would go insane and probably kill the guy. weeks later, I sent her a REALLY sappy email and confessed my feelings, completely forgetting what I said earlier and how that must have freaked her out, so she politely told me no. she even gave the whole (I'm not what you want) speech.
But thats in the passed, I'm not depressed about the first girl anymore. and the girl that I like seems to not be creeped out by me, Idk if shes just being nice, but whenever we meet at parties or social gatherings and such we talk a little and she seems fine. but the problem is she KNOWS that I had feelings for her, (and from what I know about women, that instantly makes me undesirable to her) god, I need some advice on this. Again I'm not obsessed or anything, but girls like her are SO ******* RARE, I mean like 1 in a million where I live, Seriously, If I could find a girl with her personality that was mildly attractive and single, cased closed, but THEY JUST DON'T EXIST DOWN HERE>

Calm down, relax and remember the best lovers start as friends. Don't push it. let her know you for who you are & what you actually say and do and not simply by some off-handed comment made in passing. Get to know her for who she is & not who you think her to be. It almost seems, and I don't mean this offensively, like you have already put her somewhat on a pedestal. Everything you say about her may very well be true, but that doesn't mean that she is the end-all. Just chill out man & enjoy getting to know her & allow her to do the same.
