ok i know my husband is in a lot of pain due to a seriosu back injury and he has been out of work for 9 months now so he is very depressed bc he is home all day and my parents and his parent shave made him feel like a loser for it and have not been supportive at all, he is going back to work in a week so i though tthis would make him happy but the last month or so he has seemed so unbearable and we fight all the time for the last 5 months. i try to be understanding i mean i am the only one who has been there for him i never complain about being the only one working and never having any money for myself. he always goes out and spends money on basevball cards bc it relaxes him when he is home alone and i dont mind bc it makes him happy., but it seems like my happiness doesnt matter. his temoer has been bad lately he would never hit me but he gets mad at every little thing and he is always in a bad mood lately. i feel like im walking on egg shelss all the time. i dont understand this?

He's currently in basic training.

Should I tell him the truth at the end of the letter, or send the truth out the next day.

hi, ok my brain is going blank right now, and so i'm just gonna get to the point. ok, so i have this friend (lets call him Giovanni) and for like 2 years we've been buggin each other and whatnot, and even though we're friends, we still like annoying each other. So, it's gotten kind of annoying and we've decided to make like a document or i really don't know how to put it, i guess like a peace treaty so we could get it in writing, but i'm supposed to write it and i can't think of how to put it, and it's supposed to be like nearly a page long, or at least half a page and i need to know what to write. please help. fullest answer gets best answer.

I have been married for half a year, I like my husband as he has many wonderful qualities, but I dont love him. Im not attracted to him and I feel my emotional needs not satisfied.
Then I met this guy, Im very attracted to him, we spent every weekends together for about 3 months till now, I told my husband I went out with some friends, he feels very painful when Im out. I know he loves me very much, so he tolerated for 3 months.
the fact is they dont know each other, my bf doesnt know Im already married and he now wants me to move in with him.
He is unhappy that I dont introduce him to my friends.
I sometimes feel guilty, but I dont want to leave my bf. but I dont want to hurt my husband too much either.
am I selfish? what should I do

Answer #11 by Paul A illustrates my point. (No disrespect to Paul A is intended. I'm just using the answer as a demonstration.) Women don't joke about marriage being not a word but a sentence, something that they have to pay for years and years down the road. Women don't see it that way.

So it gets down to the heart of my question. Why do men hate marriage so much?

i mean every family has at least one special person that screws up the life for every body else. it can be an uncle or a more distant or closer blood relative. of course i guess there are in laws there too but i don't think we can count them in.
can you give me a reason? feel free to elaborate. you'll do me a great favor because i had such a person who was so influencing my dad to the point that drove all my family crazy. at least i'll know i'm not alone in this situation!

Ok so my mom died when I was 10 (4 yrs ago) and she and my dad were NOT divorced they were happily married for 15 years. On Saturday night I got home from babysitting and 10:30 and my dad walked into my room and said he went on a date that night. First one since my mom died. He had gone out to dinner with some lady he used to work with. I DID NOT LIKE THIS ONE BIT!!!! I mean, I don't want him to die alone or anything I'm fine with him dating but... I just don't like it. My brother's friends dad jokingly said that he's not allowed to go to dinner and a movie until I'm allowed to go out to dinner and a movie =). Why do I feel this way (besides that she's replacing my mom) and what can I do to make myself feel ok?!!!

I just wanted to get some opinions. I was speaking to someone who says that my husband and I don't match as a couple because I have piercings and tattoos and he doesn't. They mentioned that usually if one partner has tattoos or piercings the other does as well.

I was wondering is there any other couples out there like us? I'm 31 and have loved piercings and tattoos since I was a kid. I have my nose, lip, tongue, nipples, navel and clit done while my husband only had one ear ring.
IIt's not like I'm wild and crazy. I'm a pretty normal 31 year old woman, actually a business woman (I manage and oversee a recording studio)

My man doesn't mind me having them. I am totally secure about my looks and marriage. It just got me wondering if any other women are pierced and tattooed and have husbands without either

okay my boyfirend and i have been going out for a little over a year and we are both attractive people,but he doesn't trust me with ANYTHING. i say something is better and he has to prove me wrong. but i get really close to my male friends which i can see y he is bothered but i'm not super close. i like just keeping in touch and just talking for a bit. noth big. but i have a myspace and i check it in front of my boyfriend and he always wants to read my e-mail and i don't really mind but i want him to trust me, so i don't let him read them.he just seems to want proof of everything and when we first started going out i did but now it's too much waork to make him happy. but my real question is... is there ANY way i could get him to trust me, like without the hassle of proving it too him or is it not worth my time??

then my bestfriend just told me
i hate to have to be the one telling you this cuz your my best friend but dan stoped me today at school and told me that he wants to break up with you cuz he doesnt want to hurt you and stuff and he said that he couldnt break up with you himself because he already feels like a dick....for some reasonn???

First of all, I want to say tht I love my husband. His name is Shay and I love him so much. However, when ever he gets mad, which is often he seems to get abusive. It all started verbally but about a month ago, he started becoming physically abusive with me. It hurts me not juist physically but emotionally. I wonder how someone who I love more than anything in this world can do that to me. I ask him to talk to me so maybe I can help him but he conntinues to be abusive. When he is beating me, I beg him to stop and tell him I love him so much. I dont want to leave him so what I need are suggestions to how I can deal with this without having to do that. I feel so lost. Today, he kissed me on the cheek and it meant everything to me because that is how our relationship used to be.I viewed his kiss as his way to say "Im sorry" I cry every night because I dont know what to do. I have been married for six years. About three month ago i had a row with my husband . We were in different countries during the time we had a row(I was on holiday for two months).We didnt speak to each other for about month, then i decided to call him from the country where i was and suddenly probably problems with telephone lines I could hear on the telephone line that he was talking to another women and understood from the conversation that he just met her but there is nothing between them.Now I am back and I am 90% sure that he doesnt speak to her anymore but Now I cant trust him and i am very jealous, wherever he goes I I mean after work with freinds or collegues I cant stop being jealous and i dont know what to do. I am really fed up with it.What can you advise to me?
