I lived in Richmond Virginia a few years ago and bumped into some of my friends the other day who went on to tell me a lot of my friends have been murdered over the years is there an internet registry of murders in the city I just want to see what happened to all my friends and when.

There is no registry of murders online. (I did look for one hosted by the City of Richmond and also the VSP.) What I would suggest that you do is try to search the Richmond Times Dispatch website. However, their website does not have a good archive. You may also have to Google their names online. The Social Security Administration keeps a list of deaths, but you must know the person's social security number in order to look it up.

A horrible tragedy--my prayers have been with those affected all day. I am surprised yet happy to see that your opinion on posting prayers on this site have apparently changed. Prayer is appropiate on here for anyone in need, anytime. The number of people involved should not be an indicator of the need for it, or it's appropriateness.
