My brother in law didn't go to his sons wedding because he didn't approve of his choice of bride ...... they also married in a beautiful garden rather than a church.....he upset the whole family and divided us for a while...now my nephew is a daddy and his stubborn father doesn't accept his beautiful granddaughter either !!
What an a$$ hole !! My poor sister is the "meat in the sandwich" coz she loves her son and his new family, speaks to him and shows her granny brag book proudly to eveyone who asks about her granddaughter.....and still lives with her husband in the hope he'll change.
My nephew and his family live interstate, and are coming home for Christmas ...should make for an interesting time for us all...hope misery guts has a great Christmas Day at home eating humble pie on his own...

right now, Me. I have caused many problems for my ex wife and my children, that didn't need to be. I have since tried to repair the damage but I am not sure how much progress I am making. Looking back these problems could have been avoided, but my selfish nature wouldn't allow it. I am trying everyday and that is the best I can do.
So give that person a chance to make it right they might suprise you on what you find.

Ohh! Gee! I only get to pick one? This is bad...it's so hard to choose? (not including myself..right?) well,...uhhh, male or female? I got some "doozies!" Does it count if they"re dead? (or do they have to be alive?) Is this only in the USA? or, anywhere in the world..i didn't get that one...and "no in laws!" (and i had a mother in law all picked out too!) let me see....uhh, I hope we don't have to give names now do we? (I sure do wish it wasn't just "1"..." Now, what if we are divorced..will that count? I mean, they "were" part of the family at one time, right? This is so hard..you'll have to re-define the rules..so i can give a more proper answer here..so, i'll get back with you all on this one...wow! this one is a whopper! man, i can't seem to make up my mind on this one...i mean........

My dad was an alcoholic, never abused me or mum, lied about his drinking problem,(mum knew). They got divorced when I was 5.He disappeared for 12 yrs,no one knew where he was. Then one day he got in touch with my mum.He said he had been sober for 12 yrs and wanted mum and their marriage back.So they re married, all good right,,Wrong...
Dad was still drinking and lying about it to us.So mum asked him to leave.I kept on seeing him from time to time.,most of the time he wouldn't show up,,just leave me waiting all day,no phone call, nothing. He hurt me and mum so bad..
Yes he is an a hole,,but I love him so much. For years doctors told him he would die if he continued to drink.
He passed away in 1991.
He was only 36
My dad lost his mum in a car accident when he was 16.That's when he started drinking.
Such is life...
