My daughter was being mistreated by her step cousin. The cousin would keep harrassing her and calling her names. We told the parents and grandparents what was happening and it ended up a bigg mess. If the kids can't play don't bring them up was mentioned. It has been 2 months since we have went to the grandparents house. Now the little girl says she is sorry but I don't feel like she is. I can forgive her but I won't forget. This is the third incident with my husbans family. It seems like it is the step grandmothers fault cause she lets her grandkids walk all over her, and they are allowed to do whatever they want. I don't know what to do.

I am pregnant and after my last miscarriage hubby and I decided we both wanted for me to stay home for this pregnancy. We get by just fine, we even have a little extra money at the end of the month that goes into savings. My husband has a coworker that came right out and said, "you know your wife has to go back to work now that you are trying to have kids right?" My husband was quite taken aback as this man is about thirty years older than he is and he works with him every day, so he just nodded and smiled. I, on the other hand, get flack from one of my aunts (who I was never close to) about staying home, while my parents and my husbands' parents are very supportive of whatever we do. I have worked since I was sixteen years old, I never thought that if I was lucky enough to be able to stay home with my children I would feel so... attacked. I think it's truly sad, but my question remains- what makes other people bothered by our choices for our family, by my staying home?

My boyfriend's step-mother got me the job I'm at now and I thank her endlessly for it. However, yesterday I found out through one of our bosses/co-workers that she put in her 1 month's notice that morning so she could become a stay-at-home mom to her 1-year-old son! I really thought he was joking when he told me this at first because my boyfriend and I had gone over to her and her husband's (my boyfriend's father) house on Saturday and she didn't mention anything to us about quitting. To be honest, finding out the way I did kind of made me angry and just really made me feel like she didn't trust me enough to tell me personally (and I haven't given her a reason not to trust me that I know of). Especially since my boyfriend and I have been dating for over a year and a half. Plus, she's the one that got me this job! She's about the only person in my workplace that I actually like!

How would you have felt in that situation? Do I have a right to feel uncomfortable about this?

My partner and I have been together for 12 years and have two children aged 6 and 4. The youngest one has a disability and since she was born I have had a yearning for another baby that will not go away. I havent been able to do anything about until now as I couldnt have managed with a new born before my youngest was at school but now she is I am desparate to have another one - cant explain it, it is like i need the baby I thought I was having, although I wouldnt change my little girl for the world and have an unbelieveable bond with her. My partner (he's 35 and i'm 30) says he's too old and doesnt want to work forever so would like me to get back out to full time work as soon as possible, I am heartbroken and really dont know what to do.

my mother keeps trying to make me let my daughter back into my life when i just cant do it. my daughter has allways been my mums pet ,when she was 14 she stole the money my husband had been saving to buy us a new car she spent it on mobile phones and drugs . my mum said it was our fault for not giving her some attention i had just suffrerd a stillbirth.at 17 she got pregnant by a drug dealer and lives with him now although she swears she doesent do drugs now and my mum believes her . i worry myself sick because she is so thin and shackes all the time . i decided to cut her out of our lives for my own sanity i have other kids to look after but my mum keeps on at me to to speak to her again and telling me about my grandson who the father wount let me see even though i gave them lots of money in the begining.i dont no what to do my daughter plays mind games with everybody to make them feel sorry for her . she is 20 now i have tried to give her all the love in the world what do i do now

Hi,

I just found out the my girlfriend has been cheating on me. In fact i found out that she has cheated on my twice. I have been with her for a good 5 years and was lookin at moving to the next step(marriage). She had a drunken one night stand awhile back and one about 1/2 year into her relationship. The two of which i have just found out about. she said that they meant nothing. However it meant something to me and i can't seem to get it out of my head. I understand that to give it another go i have to forget the past. But how to i stop thinking what the future could bring. I mean i don't trust her anymore. I know i love her so much but how do you get over something like this and begin to trust again. After cheating on me twice does she deserve another chance.

My Dad died 4 weeks ago, which has left my Mum living on her own in a retirement bungalow where they moved to 7 months ago. She has early stages of alziemers, which is really hard. I take a day off a week with her and see her weekends and evenings. My sister helps as well. The problem is, is that everytime I talk to her on the phone she keeps saying she is lonely and bored. All her neighbours have said she can go round anytime, and also there is a community house where they do things like outings, coffee morning etc. One minutes she wants to go then the next she doesn't. It is so frustrating, because I can't be with her everyday. I don't want to get angry with her because she has alzeimers and that would upset her. I feel so guilty for not being with her. What should I do?

I was in a really good relationship for 2 years, even though it was long distance relationship - we were really in love and it was amazing however toward the end of the 2 years things went rocky and he finished it. from then on we got back together a few times but something always got in the way, and he then moved further away which made it impossible and almost straight away a relationship started up between me and a close guy friend and we got into this really serious relationship without having a chance to rebound and have any time on my own. we've been togther nw for round 8 months and its really serious, i stay at his round 6 nights a week and he's perfect we never argue he takes care of me i cannot fault him.n he does make me happy. bt i cnt help hw strongly evn now i still feel for my ex, me an my ex still tlk, not very often but we do. n e stil loves me he is also in a 7/8 month relationship. there hav bin times he has mesed my hed up an lied.can i stay wiv my bf feelin lyk dis

when it isn't even my fault. Like yesterday, she said that if we would've studied we could've made good on a quiz she gave us, and over half the class failed, but she looked at me while she said it. Then she told us that we're doing our graphs wrong, and looked at me when she said it. I'm a good student in her class and all, but I don't know why she'd blame me, maybe she just blames a random person I suppose.
