I'm an Asian women while my boyfriend is white. At the beginning I was afraid of people's special look and refused his dating. But now I am not. No one has ever given us a second look when we walk in the street hand in hand.

i'm glad you haven't run into problems, but don't let the fear of what other people think get in the way of your relationship. you WILL run into people who don't agree with interracial couples. i'm white and my boyfriend is black and we've gotten a lot of looks and even a few "talking to"s. but i do think the attitude is changing for the better, it is more accepted than it was before...they're even portraying interracial couples on tv a lot now (like on "grey's anatomy"). i hope everything works out for you two :-)

We're all scientifically classified as homo sapien, which means we're all the same species.... and all related. We all breathe the same air, drink the same water, live on the same planet & have the same basic needs... regardless of where we live or come from.... what language we speak..... or what color our skin is. Love & happiness are never guaranteed & occur only when allowed to... regardless of exterior differences or what other people think. If you've found somebody you care for & love that makes you happy & feel good.... then hang on & never let go..... for such is something special not everyone has. Enjoy every moment as the only assurance is death, which can occur at any time & with a quickness. The only person who loses by saying no or letting go..... is yourself.

A friend of mine on Interracialmatch.com discussed with me about people's attitudes toward biracial marriages. He thought it had been changed for the better. Me too. Nowadays people are more open-minded. Besides, I think people's views should be ignored. It's great as long as two people love each other.

I think it has, I know my views have changed as I've gotten older and more in touch. I think it also depends on where you live. If you live in a place where interracial relationships are more prominent like NY, than chances are you're not going to be looked at funny. I know its gotten a little better in DE, there are alot more interracial couples now. I'm not a hater. I say love who you want, as long as its for the right reasons. Good luck and God Bless

I think it might have changed. I hope it has. I'm hispanic but I've always been attracted to mostly Caucasian and Asian people. I for one hope we will one day NEVER have to worry about this. I think people are a little more open to it nowadays because its everywhere! I love seeing it!

You should never concern yourself with other people being ignorant. But i think it is less of a big deal these days

Good and sometimes you see racist people but it shows that slowly the people are mixing and mingling
