Of course most women have sexual desire, but sometimes women are afraid to be rejected by the man, as they think, once lost their fertility they won´t be regarded as a "complete woman" anymore.
Men do strictly speaking suffer from menopause, but with the age takes a little more to get sexually active, as erections are not as strong as before, suffer from some typical male cancer and some males do need some help (like Viagra).
But age has nothing to do with sexual desire, in former times people thought that was not appropriate to have sex when you are old, but that´s just stupid!!

I have heard of "male menopause" I think it's a new spin on the mid-life crisis that men have been associated with for many years,
I myself am 40...pre-menopausal, I guess you'd say. I haven't noticed much fluctuation in my sexual desire from the beginning of my sexual life until now. I peaked at 16 and I am still peaking.
Good Luck

After menopause women lack in sexual desire. there has been a hormonal decline which makes the reproductive organs as well as the genitalia gets degenerated.
For men there is no menopause. Their sexual desire still continues till the old age but it withers drastically as the age progresses.

Yes. Menopause only stopped fertility in woman and not sexual desire. Rather they enjoy even more because there is no danger of getting conceived. Only thing is that woman has to use lot of lubrication because vagine donot get wet and remain dry.

for women sex is a means to an end whereas for men it is by itself the end!! primarily and naturally, pleasure seeking is in having sex. all other forms of pleasure is only a proxy of sex. so sexual desire is in the blood, bones, genes, and the subconscious, and the primodial mind. so even a 80 year old man or woman can have sex, with the right circumstances.
