He says he will continue to use condoms when we are intimate but I would feel better using the patch even tho it is not 100% effective either. How can I get him to change his mind. We are both adult, over the age of 25 if that helps.

i found out he was actually married and he hasnt come in to where i work for 4 weeks scince he brought his child in and he would come in every week the last conversation we had after it had ended we where just looking in eachothers eyes...

do you think he fallen for me and thats the reason he wont return as he has important responsibilitys as he thought it may have gone further?i would not have taken any further as he was married

If a married man strays with the same woman, does it mean he is not in love with his wife?
It is an arranged marriage(by parents), and their behaviour together seems more like distant friends, not a couple or even buddies. He keeps coming back so easily, it makes me wonder if he's even in love with his wife, or its just a habit of being married or staying in a non-threatening relationship.
He says he's emotionally blank towards me, but I feel those are just words. I think he's scared of falling in love with me, he's said he doesn't want to fall in love with me.
Any comments?
And moralists, you aren't living my life, so please don't preach.

My best friend recently lost her mom and now my mom is doing everything for her. I hate this feeling that I have, yet can't shake it. She has 3 kids & I have none. I just graduated from grad school & am starting a pretty lucrative job however, times are still rough from school debts. I hate it when mom gives her $ or does favors in her home to help. Mom hasn't given me any financial help since I started college or never comes and helps me with any of my housework. I want a baby real bad, but can not have one until my career takes off & I know we can afford it-she had 3 by the time she was 21 & dropped out of school so I know times are rough for her too, but I feel like I am being punished for being responsible. I hate it when my mom says "I'd like a grandchild" & my BF makes comments like "You can have these 3, or these are your grandkids" It drives me nuts, because I will have a child, just not at others expense. I don't want to say anything and sound petty. How can I get over it?

My (soon to be) ex husband of 8 yrs. cheated on me and left me 2 months ago for some rich woman he met online for sex. I was a good, loyal, loving, caring wife to him. I am trying so hard to take care of myself and move on with my life even though I do not seem the bit interested in getting in a rebound relationship. I want to heal myself 1st. He has a webpage that he has already posted pics of him and her on and his new boat (which he named after her-how stupid is that?). I don't go visit his page and alot of my friends say that he seems to be doing all this to get some kind of reaction /rise out of me. I haven't attempted to contact him once since he has been gone. I hope it's crushing his man ego! He is a liar and a cheat. Why does it seem that he is sooo happy and I'm stuck in this rut of picking up pieces of my shattered heart? Will things ever get better for me? I really hate feeling like this. I know I'm better off without his sorry @ss though. Will Karma strike him and her?

It's been 13+ years and I can't wait till he comes home.
I still think he is as fine as when we first met.
I can't wait to lay by him at night for our quiet time.
I love to kiss those dimples over and over.
I love to shave his face from time to time and see his loving look.
I love to cook his favorite dishes.
I love to love his children and watch them grow everyday.
To have him take care of me and the house through surgery.
To still love me even though a few wrinkles have set in.
To love and be loved is what I think life should be.
Marriage is a oneness only few can comprehend.

My granddaughter is on her highschool homecomming court. She is in Ohio and I'm in FL. It would be so very special if I could see what's going on and at the same time be on the phone with my daughter.

Here's the scenario.

I took a position that had me away from home for two months. The trip was a huge success from a business perspective (so it seemed). My wife is 5 months pregnant, ended up having to move due to unsafe conditions while I was away, had trouble having consistent baby sitting for her daughter, and was working full time all while I was away. I get back and payday rolls around, but no paycheque. Company makes excuses and promises next payday it will all be caught up. Payday came last Friday and no paycheque again. So the trip was a huge mistake. I gave up the summer with my new family and got screwed.

On the home front. My wife and I have not been intimate since I got home three weeks ago. Away for two months. Home almost a month and rubbing her belly is as intimate as it gets.

My best friend thinks she had an affair. Despite all that happened, how can you not be intimate after being away for 2 months?

Are these signs of a possible affair while away?

My son's 1st birthday is one week before Easter next year... How can I combine the two events, without taking away from the importance of either!?

*Note: The reason we plan on having both events on one day (on Easter), is because that is the best time that out-of-state relatives can come up. So it's either celebrate them together, or Not, and have those certain relatives not show up.

What can I do? What are my options?!

I'll call him John.
I have known him all his life. But a few years ago he began confiding in me, telling me his most personal feelings for someone, my sister. He opened up and I could see his heart and soul. Our conversations turned to easy banter and later — I have a hard time admitting this even now — flirtation and I had no intention of crossing any physical line, nor did I think about him that way. The signs of an emotional affair may be more subtle than those of a sexual affair, but they're just as unmistakable. "An emotional affair happens when you put the bulk of your emotions into the hands of somebody. Your talking with this person, sharing with this person. Your innermost thoughts, funny jokes, and interesting personal experiences are saved up and spilled to this person. And even if you never so much as touch him, this emotional attachment has just as much potential as a sexual fling.
