It's been 13+ years and I can't wait till he comes home.
I still think he is as fine as when we first met.
I can't wait to lay by him at night for our quiet time.
I love to kiss those dimples over and over.
I love to shave his face from time to time and see his loving look.
I love to cook his favorite dishes.
I love to love his children and watch them grow everyday.
To have him take care of me and the house through surgery.
To still love me even though a few wrinkles have set in.
To love and be loved is what I think life should be.
Marriage is a oneness only few can comprehend.

Thanks for so many positive answers. I must agree that the only thing that I worry about is that he might leave this earth before me. A love so great as ours hurts just thinking of such a thing.

That's Wonderful!

I have been married for 6 1/2 years and we were together for 6 years before marrying. At each milestone we've shared, I've thought, "Wow. I love him so much. How can it get any better?"

The amazing surprise is that no matter how great it is, it does constantly get even better! Every year together, every new event (wonderful - like vacations, or sad - like our miscarriage and his mother dying last month) brings even deeper emotions and more certainty that we are here to take care of each other.

I used to be busy non-stop with school, work, friends, and family responsibilities. When I decided to become a homemaker, so many people thought I was crazy and told me I would be bored out of my mind. Not the case! I love having the time to dedicate to taking care of our home and family, and the best part of my day is when he calls to let me know he's on his way home from work.

I hear so many people say that marriage is hard work - I don't believe that. When you both have love and respect, its the easiest thing in the world.

Yes, I agree! I do seem to fall in love with him more and more as time goes on. We've only been married for 3 1/2 yrs, but still, with every passing day I feel like I need him more and love him more than the day before. And after I had our son I felt even more bonded to him. Now I'm pregnant again and SO happy! Couldn't imagine my life without him. A few weeks back we got into a fight, and I left, stayed over at my grandmother's for a week.... everynight that I slept alone I missed him twice as much, and by the end of that week I realized that I am more in love with him than I ever knew... I came home, and since then, every night we sleep next to each other is beautiful!

I have been married for two years....yesterday. After both of us were married for a long time (me 27 years and her 26 years) we both got away from cheating spouses. We found each other and became friends but never dated. After two years we decided that we would date becasue we were such good friends and I want to tell you, we have never been apart for more than a day. We do everything together and we have to make ourselves go to sleep every night because we lay there talking and the next thing you know it is mid-night. We kiss and hug all the time. It is wierd compared to my previous experience. She can walk into the room and the light will catch her face just right and the next thing I know tears are running down my face because I realize how beautiful she is and that we are married. We are so happy the only thing that we worry about is something happening that takes the other from this world...

I respect my husband more, I admire him more, I understand him better, we've been through A LOT together and I find that we are in a good place after 11 years of marriage. We still have our ups and downs, grumpiness and silly stuff, insecurities and haunts from the past, but overall, I am content and happy with our life together and couldn't imagine my life without him.

That is beautiful :)
My hubby and I have been together for close to 2 years (married for 3 weeks!) and I am so crazy about him. I really think I'll still feel this way 50 years from now :)
