So there is this girl that I like. In previous questions I have asked, it gives all the details. Well she is older than me, by a year and our homecomming is coming up. I just met her like 3 weeks ago. We have been walking to class together everyday. I think she knows I kinda like her, but I don't think she knows it to the extent that I do like her. So we have been semi-flirting everyday and walking really close. Do you think I should ask her to homecomming?

Keep in mind that we do not date. I would like to, but I don't know that much about her yet. Plus not sure if she likes me at all. Right now we are just friends, I just dont want to be stuck in the friend zone (NO Girls that does not mean all I want is sex).

Women, How often does your good looks help you during the typical day? Im curious. A good friend of mine gets lots of perks. At Bars & restaurants she always gets exceptional service from men, at her job the men jump at the chance to assist her with her daily task, She always gets a great deal on automotive service, plus she never has to wait in Line for anything. Its not fair since Everyone cant be drop dead gorgeous. So Ladies, Do you get job promotions, free stuff and extra favors just because you were blessed with good looks? Be Honest Ladies..Please.

Someone told me you can have an "emotional affair"? Or calling someone on the phone and talking can be considered an "affair" too?

My wife and I were married under Christian marriage act before a marriage registrar in India. We would like to divorce under mutual consent. Both of us are now residing out side India. Is it possible for us to file a joint application for divorce while being out side India? I mean, should the application be done in person or can it be done by power of attorney? how and where do I obtain such an application? Should the filing of application be done at the same jurisdiction where the marriage was held or can it be done anywhere in India?

So theres this guy in my 6th period class and his name is forrest. Hes a senior im a sophomore. I don’t even think he knows I exist. I like him, but I just found out that one of my friends friend likes him also. Ive never talked to him but I just moved across from him until my teacher sent mee out of the class to make copies. I don’t know how I should start talking to him because im too scared to say anything. I freeze around him. How should I open a convo or start a topic. And what should I do about my crush.

I have just gotten divorced in 2005 and wasn't ready for anything. Well 2 years later I started to like someone at the job, well the feeling I thought was mutual because we talked alot he expressed his feelings for me until I made the mistake to have sex with him, now I seem not to exist in his world.. what can I do or not do to prevent this from happening again? I feel used and really don't feel like dating anyone for a really really long time.

...a man or woman who had lost an eye, arm, or leg compliments of "Bush's War" in Iraq, and you had no idea of their disability until AFTER you had bedded them,
WOULD you "BREAK IT OFF" with them???

(You might argue that THIS type of question has no place in "R&S"; I disagree. It has EVERYTHING to do with your "Spiritual" feelings.)

My niece is my Matron of Honor. I would like to have my best friend as my Maid of Honor also. Is there a rule against this? They are both my best friends and have been there for me through everything. Why should I have to chose one over the other?

husband wants to move to suburbs of new jersey. i want to stay in manhattan. i hate the 'burbs. we have no kids. only a golden retriever. i would rather live in a box in the city than live in the 'burbs with the soccer moms and bratty teenagers wearing juicy couture and driving beamers. i like not having to drive everywhere and having an easy commute and having diversity and everything the city has to offer. both of us won't budge, is this the end of our relationship? thanks.

O.K. I"m 43..I recently moved back to my 'old' neighborhood..and one of my 'old' aquaintences (29) has contacted me...well, we have 'hooked-up' these last two days just like the 'old' days.
Anyway, this 'time around' I am begining to think she wants more than sex. Little hints like, 'no one has made her as happy as I did all these years' and calling me witin an hour of leaving my place, both days. She currently lives with another man and has mentioned how much she wants out of that situation.
She initiated our new relationship on monday. She called and we talked awhile. Then she said she wanted to come over and **** me. Sounded good to me at the time...I just didnt know she changed after all this time and wants more than I'm ready to give her.
Please dont judge either of us...I just need some advice on how to handle this carefully without hurting her feelings (we are still really good friends).
As shallow as I sound: 'I'm just in it for the sex'.

I used to be friends with this girl, since about 4th grade. Well, first of all, this girl is what you'd call "weird"...I hate being mean, but she's the kind of girl no one likes. She's...not very pretty, not smart, and a bit disgusting. She's very immature, even now. Before, she used to keep touching me and dancing around me. That was really embarrassing.
I have no desire at all to be her friend. We're in 8th grade now, and it's getting ridiculous. I get embarrassed when she's around. It's almost like she has the mind of a 2nd grader sometimes. She rambles on and on about her CATS and makes terrible jokes that are just stupid...She doesn't get it. She still thinks we're best friends. I try giving her hints, and she seems to have gotten them partially. She doesn't hang around me as much, but she latches onto my group of friends though they don't want her around at all! I really want to let her know, I DON'T want to be her friend. (And this sounded mean...sorry bout that...) Please help!

I have a daughter who just turned 7 last week. I do EVERYTHING for her financially w/ sporadic (like $10-$20 every few months) support from her father. I dont get child support (I have filed but he RARELY has a job). Whenever my money gets tight I tend to hate her father cause I know that if he would make even a small contribution to her financial upbringing then I would have more to work w/. I dont ask him for a lot, for example, when I got child support for 2 months in a row back in 2005 (the one and only time I ever got anything) I was getting $40/wk and I never asked him for anything. He does spend time w/ her (not enough to me but I know its more than some kids get w/ their dads). I am grateful for that but I dont want to resent something that I cant change and I just dont know what I can tell myself to cope cause its not affecting him, just making me crazy! I am not the trype of person who would stop him from seeing her if he did not pay cause that would hurt her in the long run.

My daughter's dad passed away and my mom filed for survivor's benefits for her. At first she received a certain amount, then her half-sister's mother filed and my daughter's portion of the benefits were reduced to half the amount she had been getting. Which was only fair since my daughter's sister was entitled to her share as well. My question is, when my daughter's sister turns 18, she's 4 years older than my daughter, or whatever the age of majority is, will my daughter's benefits go back up or it will it stay the same amount that she's getting now? Someone said that my daughter's amount will increase when her sister reaches majority, I'm just wondering if that's true or has anyone had any experience with this situation?

My fiance and I broke up a couple of weeks ago and I'm still depressed about it. I saw him earlier today at Applebee's with some co-workers and my friend literally had to stop me from going over to him. I can't help thinking of him because I still love him so much and wish we still were getting married but he broke up with me because of his daughter came back in his life and he said he needed some time to get to know her. I don't understand why he would hurt me because of this. My friends suggested I go out and meet new guys to help but I don't think it will. What do you guys think?
