no this is not true at all, as a matter of fact, a persons standards often times go down after a breakup or after they add another EX to the list... they miss the companionship more than anything usually.

No, it just means that for whatever reason, you think the person he's dating now is unattractive ( a predictably "subjective"[if somewhat petty] reaction considering your ex is with her). You do seem to place a lot of value in "looks" and your apparent "hotness", but all of your hotness plus a dime still can't buy a cup of coffee...you could benefit from more substantive treasure.

He obviously goes for 1 type of look, which u find unattractive, he might think they they (& thr4 u) are the most beutiful people out there.

A girl I use to have a crush on use to be dating a guy who I now work with. She is super hot. They broke up and a few weeks ago I saw his new girlfriend, she is really nice but kind of ugly.
I told another friend this and he said to me "After dating Tiffany (the hot girl) all you can do is go down."
