I'd be sorely tempted...that was a number of wasted years, but I did learn a lot (in retrospect) so wonder how those lessons would've come to me later on.

Still...I was young (19) and foolish when I married, and wish I'd done something more constructive with my life at the time.

Hindsight...ain't it grand?

Nope....during my first marriage i was young and expected one of those marriages were people don't fight and both people are helping out around the house the way they should. All of those specifics that society has put into our head about how a marriage is suppose to be.

Im now with my boyfriend of 2 1/2 years and we are basically married. We don't have the money to get married but we have 2 kids together and are very happy. If we have a problem we dont' wait until we are yelling...we just talk about it. We were both married before and matured greatly from it. Our expectations of marriage are so different now that we both had failed marriages. Neither of us wish it never happened because we learned. We are, however, very greatful to have found each other.

If I do erase the divorce, do i get the $40K that was wasted as well? Will I be 21 again? Will she take the Herpes back?

[:(

I wouldn't erase it, she taught me a lot about how a woman shouldn't be, and she did help me develop a good sense of fashion style also. She brought me out of my shell. I'll still $hi% on her grave though.

When I got married I was 17 years old! NOT RECOMMENDED! However, from that marriage I had a beautiful daughter. I regret getting married so young, but I never regreted having my daughter.

As we've worked to keep that first marriage together for 30+ years, I think not.
