so i started school recently and this really pretty girl started to talk to me, but im a really shy person i only talk to my close friends, and she talks to me just about everyday, just saying hi, or how was your day, i like her, but when she talks to me i just usually say and its an akward silence and i guess she's dissapointed, so what can i talk to her about? im not into sports much but i just really don't know what to say please help

I admit I was that way, thinking I could change someone and that I needed a man. But now Im older and I have my priorities straight and theres nothing a guy can do for me that I cant do for myself.

I see alot of questions on here where the person is being cheated on, maybe it was only once and some people say to stay with them it was only once. Or stay if you love them. If they loved you, they wouldnt do it period. I dont care if it was once or 100 times, I would never tell my friend to stay with her cheating man. What is up with some people? Dont people respect and value themselves anymore?

I care about my husband, but I know that I stopped being in love with him a long time ago. We've been trying to have kids for 5 years now (same length of time we've been married). As much as I want to be a mother, I don't really want to have kids with my husband. He's a kid on his own and not only that, but I've fallen out of love with him and I'm currently in love with someone else.

We're about to start the IVF (invitro fertilization) in a few months, and I'm just wondering if I should go thru it or not. I feel like if I don't then, I'll never be able to have a child (I'm 30). Should I just go through it and if successful, keep the baby, still stay in the marriage for the sake of marriage or not go through it and be with someone who makes me happy? I feel like I'm getting to old and I may never be able to have a child, but I feel like I'm doing it with the wrong person as well.

Me and this chick have worked in camp from june to end of august. In the beginning we got into a real fight but after that more people arrived and we basically didnt speak to each other for a couple of months and in the end even talked a little bit. Now we are back home miles apart and she added me as a friend of facebook. So should I apologize now since I never did at camp or is that just for cowards since its online and not face to face?

I have three friends lets call them KT, AM, and CK. KT and CK are bf/gf. I like to hang out with all of them. However lately its gotten to the point where I'm just stressing out. Tonight for example I had to choose to between driving KT and her friend to CKs house or Making a birthday cd for AM's friend. I really like AM and she knows it, but along time ago she told me in an argument that she didn't have any feelings for me. However lately she has been calling/texting me a lot to hang out and to see what I'm doing, I hope she isn't leading me on but Idk if she is or not! its driving me crazy! I didn't make AM's cd even though I will, and now AM is most likely mad at me. I can't win with these so called friends. I don't want to lose them as friends because they are cool people but I also hate feeling like I'm being used without knowing it. Should I just play it cool and pretend it dosen't bother me or should I mention something to them?

My family got a trailer in May this year. I was allowed to invite friends to come up once in awhile. I had been emailing a certain friend from the trailer one weekend on a Sunday, saying that my friend might be able to come up on Thursday (we were going home the next day then returning on Thurs as my parents needed to work). I asked her to check with her mom and give me a headsup if she thought she could go. On Tuesday I told her she could definitely come & asked her to call saying if she could. That night, she phoned & said she was sorry but she couldn't come. I said okay and phoned another friend who was able to go. An hour later, the first friend phoned back & said now she could go. I explained to her that I was sorry but had already arranged plans with another friend as she had said she couldn't go. She asked me if I could cancel with that friend and I apologized but said that I had already arranged it with that friend. Her mom got very mad & said I was a bad friend for doing...

I've been married for 7 years and my husband is increasingly getting worse. He is 12 years older than me and I never thought that would be an issue, but now, it seems that all he does is either explode in front of our three year old, call me a f'n ***** and other choice names, even in front of our son, threatens to leave or kick me out every other day and is simply evil and full of hate. When he is not doing that, he is sitting in front of the tv and doesn't even play with our son. He has a job and now I've been unemployed because I was laid off and prior to that, I had good jobs. Since I lost my job, it seems that he thrives on being horrible to me and makes me feel like I'm at a dead end. He tells me that I'm worthless and that I'm a horrible mother, which I am not. I am very loving and care about more son more than anything. I just can't take the verbal and emotional abuse anymore. We've been in and out of marriage counseling throughout all our marriage. Should I get out??

My husband deleted our internet history one night ( I work nights) and the next day I wondered why he did. I asked him if he was looking at porn bc/ my step-dad used to delete his history d/t his porn addiction. So, he said he didn't delete it and that he wasn't looking at porn. Well, that was over a year ago. A couple of weeks ago I asked him if he ever looks at porn and he said yes. So then, I was intrigued bc/ to be honest with you, I thought that he didn't. So I further asked him when the last time he looked at porn was to which he replied (after thinking about it a while) a week and a half ago...I was like, """waaahhh??""" Am I naive or something to think that if he did ever look at porn it would be like once or twice a year. I was so interested in him @ first. I thought we were perfect and for eachother. I didnt know him that well But i knew he was a manly man an outdoor lover and everyone said hed treat me like a queen. Since we been dating, He never ever comes to my town to see me, and didnt call me for two days. Ok, so my neighbor (I'll call her Suzie) and I have known each other since we were wearing diapers, and we both know each other really well. Today, me, my brother, "Suzie," a friend of hers, her brother, and both my and her mom went to a place called Canobie Lake Park, which is sort of like a scaled down version of Disney. "Suzie" has this friend (Lets say her name is Betty), who happens to be hot. We both flirted a bit, but "Betty" didn't show any other of those signs of attraction (lots of eye contact, touching her hair, touching me, etc...) but I think she likes me. So the question is, should I go for it? I don't know if "Suzie" would take it in a bad way, like, for example, she would if her brother went out with her friend (Which she actually said to me would be weird). So I'm just asking for your opinion, would you do it or stay away?

the "big question". On one knee and the whole bit. It'll be on her 22nd birthday (provided I'm still with her then and she hasn't killed me yet), which is in 2008... But already I feel nervous. Is this natural, even though the question won't come until next year?

Also, is it natural to be thinking to myself, "Dude, she's going to say no... You don't deserve her, man!" and things like that?

I was wondering if anyone was too shy in high school to ask anyone out and was not interested in anyone in their grade but grades higher than them??? I am in my junior year of high school and I still have never had a boyfriend. I am WAY TOO shy to ask out a guy and I don't really want to ask out a guy in my grade if I have no feelings for him. I am just scared that when I do get to college I will never get a bf because all the guys will get freaked out that I never had a bf before.
