Was anyone kinda shy in high school and not interested in anyone in their grade????

Question

I was wondering if anyone was too shy in high school to ask anyone out and was not interested in anyone in their grade but grades higher than them??? I am in my junior year of high school and I still have never had a boyfriend. I am WAY TOO shy to ask out a guy and I don't really want to ask out a guy in my grade if I have no feelings for him. I am just scared that when I do get to college I will never get a bf because all the guys will get freaked out that I never had a bf before. Did any of this happen to you when you were in high school???? Did you eventually get into a relationship after high school??? Thanks for answerin!!!

P.S. I do have a lot of crushes but they are all on guys that are older than me.

Ok sweetie, you're just fine. First, don't worry about what "might" or "could" happen when you're in college, because you're not there yet. Deal with it when it happens.

For now though, don't worry about not having a bf. I don't understand though why you don't want to go out if you have no feelings...can't you just go out as friends?? Why do there HAVE to be feelings? You're shutting yourself off from a lot!

Another thing to do is to go out with a group. Get a bunch of people and go to the mall or the movies or go bowling. That way you don't have to worry about having a "date", and boys will get to know you in a different way than just school, and heck, maybe one of them will ask you out!

Don't let it bother you...it's natural. Just be yourself and enjoy your friends. Good luck.

LMAO!!! YES LOTS!!! RELAX!!!! BREATH!! Your doing fine, its nice to get a few fristies out of the way, but its in no way going to hurt you in colleage! Colleage my friend, proves how outside the reality, highschool is. Its a new game all together, you remember cliqs? GONE! Do you remember the popular people? GONE! Do you remember how some people were considered so nerdy no one would talk to them? THATS GONE TO! Its a new world in colleage were everyone gets to be pretty much equals, well unless you try to play highschool games, but they'll take care of those little girlies and dudes in the frist few weeks. Its not about popularity as much as its about excepting the truth of whats going on in our lives, everyone gets to starte over!!! Besides a lady like you just sounds INTERESTING to a colleage guy, so don't worry, well be waiting on you;-)
