If you are telling the truth and you really did end on good terms, and nothing bad has happened between the two of you since the break up....then I think she's just trying to spark your interest, and get you all worked up to call her and ask her "Why did you send me that message."
I think it's a tactic.

am actually thinking about sending my ex boy friend of a week the same message.........and we broke up a few days ago on ok terms ...i guess...not really but i guess...anyway she is probably sitting there like me ...with nothing but time on her hands and is thinking over the good times together and the bad. shes probably wondering what you are doing who you are with and if you are out having a good time not thinking about her at all and its probably making her upset to see that you are and have moved on with the relationship and here she is still thinking about you wondering wishing things was different. It makes her sooooo upset to know that you are not calling (or like you use to) and all the happy things inside that made her smile with you ...you are probably giving that to someone else......it pisses her off to think of all of that so....she sent you the message.....geesh am sad.

She probably just found a picture of you when you weren't a scuzball, and that reminded her. OR maybe she had put it on the calendar "Don't forget to text him a hate message" :)
I have reminders on my calendar about things to do to my Exes - 8:00 a.m. - key her car 10:00 a.m. - leave hateful notes on her windshield 12:00 p.m. - text remind her that I hate her.

She's just trying to get your attention or reaction. She choose that word rather than saying "how r u" because it would seem she's making the first move that she like to be with u again? Reply positively, don't reciprocate her remark, that is if you want her back. She might just trying to test your point of view regarding your past relationship

Maybe she had too much to drink and got brave enough to tell you how she really feels
or she is trying to get under your skin for no reason at all ... just a reminder.

odds are you did something to upset her, or there is some weird roumor flying around that you dont know about, or someone else was using her computer. could be any number of things actually. either man up and ask her about it, or just roll with it and let whatever happens happen.

she may have been pretending that she wasnt hurt by the break up and it has taken her this long to let you know how she feels
the best thing is to just talk to her and ask her whats goin on
hope it all works out =]

perhaps she found something out about you that didn't sit well, or contributed to the break up...or, maybe she just finally realized that she hates you...that's tough..why are you so worried about it after a whole year? not over it??

She wants to keep in contact, and I guess in her own mind she thinks that this will help get you back, because you will respond, and then she hopes that you will magically fall back in love with her, when your first response was to tell her off.
Just a thought.

Could be many reasons! Maybe she can't forget you. The best way to find out is call and ask her!
