My daughter is 15 and was living with her father up until a few weeks ago. He had custody of her since she was 10.

She is now forced to stay with me because he moved due to job reasons and does not want her to stay with him in an apartment alone since he works late.

She leaves me notes that "I suck at making decisions a lot." and keeps telling me that "I ran away for 5 years" so she has a right to talk to me how she wants.

Does she have a point?

I have a cousin who greatly admires me. I'm 14, she's 10. We're completely different people, and whenever she's around I get sick of hearing about how her boyfriend broke up with her (ya, and I don't even have a boyfriend yet!), and how she just adores shopping. I don't even understand how she likes me, I don't care about my looks, and I barely shop at brand name stores! I don't mind that she looks up to me, it's just that she is always phoning wanting to hang out with me. Her parents leave her with her grandparents to look after (Her grandparents are basically her parents), and they can only do so much to keep her entertained! The thing is, that when I try to tell her I don't want to hang out with her, she wont take the hint! At first I tried to be subtle about it, telling her 'I'm going out with a friend.' But now, I just say I really don't want to and she still doesn't get it! I've even told her grandparents to get her to stop calling, but that hasn't worked either. Any suggestions?

I started dating this guy since I was16and I believe thats when I lost my personality.As years went by, he started putting me down...telling me I dress , act and look like a child...I do have a baby face but I happen to be proud of it....Then I have a parent who likes to tell me what to do...like what kind of undies I should wear ( I love thongs and she doesnt so she always advices me to wear undies that reach my belly button! )...how to do my hair...she prefers when I wear it down....she hates when I wear spaghetti straps all the time..I like to dress casually..I dont like to overdo anything unless im going out somewhere important...she hates the fact that I dont like earings...I mean hellooo?? I thought i was suppose to grow and find myself! My partner and I are getting married in 4 weeks time. We were going to elope but decided to have a small private wedding with our best friends and parents. However my mother wished me to have an all out traditional wedding which is totally opposite to what we want. Ive repeatedly asked my mother to not tell people the ceremony location as we want it to be private and romantic. However she keeps telling her SOCIALITE friends. Ive even sat her down and said Please do not tell people where we will be as I dont want uninvited onlookers as we both dont like being the centre of attention as it is. We also asked her to respect our wishes (Im 32) and to just sit back and enjoy. Sadly every member of my family knows the location and my mother even told me who was going for a look after we repeatedly said not to. All I can see is an impending arguement on the day. I think shes embarassed we decided to have a wedding this way and not to her STANDARD. How do we get it across without heartache?

My former teacher emailed me...her words were..."Hi there Miss Shira...I was just thinking of you this weekend. I was missing my sweet students that I had last year. In a way, I'm really sad b/c you all are "graduated" but at the same time, I know you have moved on to bigger and better things in life." Was she mainly referring to me only when she said "you all" or was she referring to the rest of her students? Do you really think that she misses me?

I was with a female friend of mine today and we use to date about a year ago but we split up, but I been trying to get her back but she's not ready for a relationship right now. I have a good job making good money. I am able to pay most of my bills by myself, however, I can't really afford anything extra that I want, like new clothes and cable. The reason is because I am always lending my sister money. She has 3 children, and no job. She uses the money she gets for my nieces and nephew to pay bills. That money is not sufficient enough for all four of them to live on, because she is always asking to borrow money from me to get food, or for electricity. At first, I was glad to help, because they are my family, and I don't want my nieces and nephew to go hungry. Okay I took a chance with my boyfriend. I moved to Montana for him. Things all so diffferent here for me. His parents, always have something to say. Even the house keeper. I'm about to be roommates with a certain someone. We're not friends. We are merely just acquaintances and we're about to sign a lease good for one year to rent and share a room together just the two of us. he acts a fool. even once I had to call the police on him. he thinks he can tell me anything and i don't appreciate him disrespecting me in front of our daughter. I am not trying to keep her away from him but I think I at least deserve some respect. She shouldn't have to see him curse at me and call me names. I did nothing to deserve such treatment. when he disrespects me it makes me very unhappy and I don't want my child to sense that her mom is unhappy. I have filled child support on him and haven't heard back from them yet. Maybe the courts will decide something..but until then, I don't know what to do. Since he disrespects me, i feel like I have did enough and he doesn't appreciate what I have done for our child as a single parent. He does not acknowledge that and constantly has something negative to say to me. he just gets on my nerves...plz help! Also, he smokes weed and its disgusting when he wants to hold her smelling like weed and being high!!!!! I'm disgusted!

Missouri its a Law to not have more than 1 passenger your first 6 months of driving.
Well..
i just turned 16 about 1 month ago.
And i today my friends car broke down, and he brought a kid with him to school. So i had to take 20 mins to jump his car, and his dad called telling him he had to get home. Tim his friend had no other way home, and I decided to go ahead and bring him with me, along with Derek a kid i bring regularly.
We went to Quik Trip, and on the way out my dad happened to pass right by me and stopped "asked what i was doing", and just gave me one of those horrible looks. And drove off.
Im at home now, waiting 4 him to get here.
What should i do?
