Minors under the age of 16 can marry, but only if a judge at the county courthouse decides the proposed marriage would be in the best interests of the minor.

Minors between the ages of 16 and 18 can marry with the written, notarized consent of a parent or legal guardian, witnessed by two other adults. Alternately, a parent or legal guardian may give oral consent for the marriage at the marriage license office. When the minor has no parent or guardian available to give consent, a judge can approve the marriage. If no judge is available, the marriage license office can appoint a guardian to consent to the marriage.

In all states in the USA you must be 18 to get married without your parents permission. However, if you have your parents permission then in most (maybe all) you can get married at 17.

Here in certain parts of Utah, some girls get married as young as 13. (I don't advocate that myself) Like previous answer people state, Marriage is a huge move. It isn't always a fairytale. It take maturity and commitment by BOTH parties involved. DON'T RUSH INTO THIS! If you are pregnant, consider giving the baby up for adoption to a 2 parent home. (just to quote Dr. Laura)

You used to be able to get married in Kentucky at 17. I'm not sure if this is still true or not.

You will need your parents written consent, but why would you want to get married so soon?, believe me it is not all fairy tales, just do some reading and visiting with married people, they will tell you how it REALLY is.

Ummm... DO yourself a favor and don't get married it's cheaper in the long run you are way to young to get married I don't care how "mature" you are as a teenager your mind is not fully grown and still can't comprehend such things. Please don't do it I promise I'm not being mean just trying to save you heartach and money.
