Ok guys I'm serious. Over the last few months my wife (who is 6") has been beating on me (I am 5"4') at home. The attacks are often the result of only minor arguments which I never even instigate. When she attacks I try to restrain the ragged minge, but she is just too strong. Since the beatings started I have suffered two black eyes and was once rendered unconcious with a sleeper hold. I don't know what to do as I am too ashamed to go to the police and admit that I am being physical abused by a woman, although my friends all know from my injuries and they only rub salt in my wounds...

Do you think that marriage laws should include things like polygamy and gay marriage? Why or why not?

And if not, what business do you think you have to meddle in the love lives of consenting adults? If the roles were reversed would you really like someone being able to remove your rights just because they didn't like it?

If you can't tell already, I do not believe the government should have any say in the partnerships and marriage laws of people. As for the people who are simply against it, what right should they have to remove the rights of others?

I am not comparing polygamy and gay marriage in any way, these are just two examples of things that are considered "unlawful" by people who should have no business in them in the first place. Also, I am only including CONSENTING adults. So none of the "why can't I marry my dog!?" or any of the other ridiculous stuff people come up with.. Like dogs have a legal standing in the first place.

My period is always in the last week of a month. During last week, my dad usually travels on his business and many times he takes the family with him, because, it is an oppertunity for us to visit new places. My period is a real pain during such trips. Is there a way to shift the dates say during mid of the month every time?

I asked my mom, but she has no answers. I am 15 now.

I am girl, 15. Still my mom treats me like a small girl. It is true that she loves me a lot. But the issue is too much love and care, that I feel I am too much pampered than what a 15 years grown up girl actually needs. Some times it hurts my freedom too, but still I do not say any thing because mom things that I am still a small girl. When I go to kitchen, mom will be behind. When I go for shopping, dad or mom will be with me. Though I feel proud for them, I have started longing for a little more freedom.

How to tell my mom & dad about this, with out hurting them?

We have this girl up the road from us that had invited my daughter to her birthday party. When she came to the door to drop off the invitation, she could not remember my daughter's name. When I said my daughter's name, she said " oh yea ".

This girl has invited most of the kids in our residence to attend her party.
Last year, she invited the entire 5 grade. There were over 40 kids at her party.

I've heard that she doesn't care who can come or not, that she's only interested in the gifts.

I wonder sometimes if she wants the gifts so that she can return them for the money.

She does not socialize with All the kids she invites.

My kid wants to attend but I don't think it's fair to get a gift for someone who invited her but can't remember her. Maybe getting something that is not expensive like last time.

What are your thoughts on this ??? Thanks

I'm an engineer from Iraq ,I'm 35 years old and I'll immigrate to USA and stay there because I love America and it's people and especially their soldiers who sacrifice by their sorts here in order giving us the peace and the freedom. In fact I love USA girls and women because they are so beautiful and I'd like to know a girl or adult woman to build a real relationship based on the understanding and the real love in order to form a real small family with lovely cute kids and we can finish all of this by happy end " marriage " . I'm muslim and I don't care if she is not muslim or she has kids or devorced or widow or she is rich or poor , all what I want is loving me and loving her from the depth of the hearts , I want her to be from 25 to 40 years old , we couldnn't love each other by this quick letter , I know that , we can know each other on the yahoo messenger and talk to each other , see each other and then she can make her decision after understanding each other .

My mom was a very neglectful and verbally/physically abusive parent. I moved out when I was 17 and asked to come back home a couple of times out of desperation when I needed help and was told no both times. Now that I am older I can see that she is mentally ill and probably has been for years. She is a toxic person to be around so I have distanced myself emotionally and physically and this has helped me a lot. Now that she is getting older she calls me 4 to 5 times a day. And every few months she is having some financial problem that is really her own fault for not managing her money responsibly. She wants to move in with me eventually and I told her o.k. since I feel sorry for her. I know she will drive me insane if she comes here. I would like to help her, but not if it means that I will go crazy in the process. What should I do?

My ex wife has announced she wants to go back to live in her home country of South Africa with our kids (who are all primary school age). I can understand her reasons (needing the close support of her family etc.), but our kids are very happy here in the UK, doing well in school, and above all else I think it's important that they have regular contact with both their parents.
I wouldn't be able to travel to see my kids more than a few times in the year, whereas at the moment we live in the same neighbourhood, and I see them constantly.
I do see that she is struggling here as a single mother, but then again it was her choice to have an affair with another man and divorce me. Just because things didn't work out for her as she'd hoped with her new man, it seems unfair on my kids to have their lives disrupted yet further by moving abroard and not being able to see their father more than 4 times a year.
Also SA is a dangerous place with violent robberies and kidnappings, I'll be very worried about my kids living there.

How can I prevent her from doing this? And am I being selfish by doing so? (Her parents will see me as the devil who didn't let their daughter return home, and condemned her to single motherhood in the UK, ignoring the fact that she made this mess for herself).

I have always known that alchohol has been to blame for some stupid **** happening, but I was curious: What woman in here, or woman you know has been very happy in their marriage and gone out with girlfriends. On their night out they had a few too many and ended up screwing someone else. Has this happened to anyone on here? What happened after this happened.

Remember, this is for people who are happy in their marriage but just had a bad night

Hi I work @ a family restaurant & I've been working there for 3 yrs already as a host. Well this co-worker her name is Veronica & I use to work with her when she was a host. Now she is a server. We both do get along & I did enjoy working with her. One day, @ a co-worker friend party she got drunk. When I was trying giving her a cup of water to stay silver & it happen so fast she kiss me twice. I just give her the water & I left to the patio with all my co-worker friends.

5 days later after the party, I saw her again @ work & she does not say hi to me when we past buy each other. If I say hi to her, of course she say hi back to me. She never say hi to me first.

I also try to talk to her & I just give up. I do feel my gut that she has so social with me or like she is avoiding me too. I do not have feeling for her & I like her. I do not date co-worker either.

So then I just stop saying hi to her. What do you say about this? Should I stop saying Hi to her? & should I stop being nice?

I just saw this question and it was closed. Every man is different. I am married to a man who loves me very much, but loves his football and basketball just as much. We have been married for six years next month and there is no way to stop him. I have learned to accept that and also make sure that I am definitely being recognized- even while he enjoys his game!! i have also been with a man who can be easily enticed away from the games. Just learn your man ladies and adjust accordingly. You will keep him and yourself happy.

Hi, my cousin's husband went to prison for molesting our daughter's. My grandparent's allowed him to store his belonging's in their garage. My grandfather has passed on and my husband and I have the task of removing all my grandfather's things from the garage. I did not know I was going to find the items of a child molester stored in there. My grandmother is in the hospital now. Does anyone know what my options are towards removing his crap? His out date is 2012 and it is a possibility my grandma may not still be with us. What can I do? It's bad enough I have to deal with getting rid of my grandpa's stuff, but why should I have to respect this convict's things. I do not speak with his wife or exwife, I don't know what their status is. Any info out there for me? I'm ready to burn it.
