If you are supposed to be together, you will be. I suggest that you go on and live a good life while you're separated and go ahead and date others. When your education is over and you are back in the same town, then you will find out if you are still supposed to be together. You will change when you go off to college and you may both change in different directions. Please don't put your life on hold. Stay in contact but make lots of new friends. You are approaching one of the best times in your life. Be free to enjoy it. It's one of those difficult times in life when you need to turn your love loose and then see if he returns. It's time for you both to immerse yourself in your education and new places.

It can I've lived through this. What has gotten us through is that we both believe in marriage. We don't believe in running away because of a problem or two. I believe if you have two good kind hearted people they can survive. In fact sometimes being at a distance helps because you're not arguing over stupid things like cleaning.

whoa... for me, that is true. it made my heart grew fonder for my gf who i left in my home country. but unfortunately for her, what wasn't the case. she is now dating somebody else. i believe there are reasons why we ended up this way. just strive hard to keep your relationship alive. e-mail each other often, call from time to time, send sweet txt messages, etc etc. and just make sure that you trust each other completely. good luck to both of you.

In some cases, but if it's meant to be...
Depends on a lot of character issues, morals, etc.
Sometimes being alone-lonely weighs heavy.

It doesn't as long as two of you are in two diff countries. There's tendency that either of you will engage in another relationship.
