i went on a cruise with a few friends and this boy was with us as soon a s i saw him i thought he is so nice i saw him for four days and got to know him a bit and i am so in love with him he is a bit older than me but not much older and i already have come back home and i miss having him around and my stomache goes funny a bit he is also at the same school as me but he already has a girlfriend at the moment will this crush go away or what shall i do about it????? ppease help me

seariously i really like him i kmow its stupid but im like at the point of crying coz he is so kind and nice i know itis really stupid

i am like nearly crying becaue i like having him around i like him i think i need councling coz i am nearly crying just coz i like a boy

Hi Harriet, I would say you should enjoy the time you had and your memories, and it will go away. If he spent 4 days getting close to you and making you fall in love with him and he has another girl friend already, then he'd do the same to you and hurt you, so dont do anything about it. Love doesnt always pick the best man for us so you have to make sure you listen to your head too. You are very very young yet to let boys start messing your world up, keep single as long as you can! You sound like a very clever person, you already spell and have far better grammar than most people on this website, me included, so use your head and get a very good education and dont let boys break your concentration. I'm not just saying that because I'm old and boring and jealous, I would do it that way myself if I could go back.

Holiday romances are always nice but the reality is, he has a girlfriend. Maybe he does like you and those few days you spent together may have meant something to him. The fact that he goes to the same school as you makes this situation tricky. Maybe you need to speak to him if you can and ask him what those days away with you meant to him. If he is serious about you and has a thing for you then maybe something can happen between you but it is up to him to finish with his girlfriend first. Let him know you like him and want to be with him but tell him you are not going to be his bit on the side, so to speak, he cannot have you and his girlfriend! I know people will tell you to stay away from him and leave him alone as he is attached but why would he bother being with you on that cruise if he did not feel something for you. Tell him how you feel, at least you can say you let him know. If you do not, you will be kicking yourself for ages afterwards wondering, what if?
