I was with a female friend of mine today and we use to date about a year ago but we split up, but I been trying to get her back but she's not ready for a relationship right now. I accepted that she has a lot of male friends while she's single and she does the same for me but I feel it is disrespectful for to answer her phone or responed to a text to her other male friends while she's in me presence. Do you think I'm right or wrong if I get mad?

I don't think that it is disresepectful if you are just friends. Do you find that you are jealous? do you maybe still have feelings for her? It's rude for anyone to sit and talk and text if its in an excessive amount- especially when you go somewhere with someone with the intent of spending time with them- for example if you two went out to eat and catch up on old times and she spent the whole time on the phone- that would be rude- but if you are just hanging out and she gets a text or two, you shouldn't be so upset.

I agree with you to an extent. I think it's pretty rude to answer a call or text while you're on a date. Maybe you should let her know that while you two are hanging out, you'd appreciate it if she focuses on your time together and not on her phone. Getting mad about it, on the other hand, may just cause problems. Because you guys aren't back together, being mad may not work if you're trying to get her back.

If it's something like a half an hour conversation on the phone or repeated texting then yes; but if it's a quick few minutes call or a text or two then I don't think it's disrespectful.

no. you aren't dating her, and it's none of your business. she is not ready for a relationship with you, so you need to chill the hell out, and learn that her world doesn't revolve around YOU...she has FRIENDS! maybe that's why the two of you broke up in the first place....you were too controlling. she's still single. therefore she can have as many male friends as she wants. why don't you get some friends for yourself?

if i'm with my husband, and i get a phone call, or a message, then i end it quickly. but i'm MARRIED to him. you aren't even close enough to that with her.

This is a no-brainer. He is cheating with "bridget". Bridget is someone he wants you to think is psycho so you will stop asking about her and he can go on about his double-dating ways. He likes you, but he just can't get this psycho b** off his mind. It's common, and you could just let him know that you know. You could be mean and make him choose, or really make him work for your love by dumping him. I'd bet $100 that he will chase you to get you back because that's what is fun for a guy.

Yes, you're wrong. You're not exclusive with her, and she can make time for whoever she wants. It would be rude if she answered her phone all the time, but it sounds like that is not the issue. Also, it doesn't matter if it's a guy or not--even if you were her boyfriend, which you're not. God bless.

You weren't on a date ? you were kind of in the same place. ? No, it wasn't disrespectful, she was kind of letting you know , that your not the center of her universe.
