My mom is arriving soon and i'm thinking of not telling my bf, since i know that they don't like him, they told me so while he was still courting me.
And know that he's my bf, I'm afraid that when i introduce him they will try to seperate us.
Yet if i don't tell my bf that my mom would be arriving, and wouldn't be able to be introduced, he might get upset and think that i'm not that serious in him and in our relationship.
i'm confused, i just want to protect him and our relationship, yet if i do that he might not understand and get upset.
can you guys give me aan idea? please? :( thank you..

I'm going through a nasty legal process at the moment, and I would really like to understand what's going on. I'm trying to get away from (someone who is essentially an abusive ex) and I'm still really emotionally connected to him. I don't want to be doing this to him, but I don't have a choice anymore.

And I'd really like an idea of how he might be feeling right now...

So anyone with REAL experiences, either as the person served or a friend/relative of one...?? Please?!

My husband wants to move to san diego to be near his family whom he isnt particularly emotionally close with who live north of portland or. I want to move to virginia which is only 500 miles from my family. he says it isnt fair because we have always lived closer to my family. I dont think that 960 miles away is really close enough to his family to move there. putting me a couple thousand miles from my family which is really close knit. i think it just kind of leaves us away from everyone we love. should i just give in? i just moved back to the states from following him to japan for a year.

I am divorced and I know my ex will not consent to me moving our child out of state. We live in Missouri, and I want to move to Georgia with my boyfriend. I want to move to primarily get away from all the worries I have here with my ex-husband constantly trying to control our lives, even though we have been divorced 2 years now. In our divorce papers, in the parenting plan, it says I have to have written consent from him to move our daughter out of state. Well, he will not consent, so do I have to go to court and if so what do I need to prepare myself for? Is there any chance the judge would say I can't move with her? He does have a long history of DWIs and drug position, would any of this past be helpful to me moving from him? If we have to go to court, what should I expect to have to change as far as visitation rights and child support, etc? Thanks to anyone who has any answers to help me!

ok. my couson (who's 16) started acting very strangely around me starting about 6 months ago. He has called me 'hot' and when he walked past me he brushed his hand over my shoulder. I found this very strange. I don't like him at all (like that) and have told him several times that i have a boyfriend. I even introduced him to my bf. Do you guys think this is anything more then being friendly??
oh, in case this helps, im 13.

And when you try to talk to the ones you think will be there to listen they only criticize you & every one around you. For instance, my son is making some bad decisions about college & marriage at a young age. His dad has given him nothing but hell & my current husband just keeps calling him an idiot! My youngest son has a condition called encopresis, which would take a lot to explain, but basically he poops his pants several times a day because this condition causes you to loose control over your bowels. I've taken him to dr after dr & have talked to 2 specialists, but am having no luck yet! It's a very complex problem with a long treatment for recovery. Sometimes his pants are so full that he literally has to crawl to the bathroom & I have to clean him off in the tub because it's so much! I want to home school him until I get him "cured," but also have no support for that! I am the one who sees how embarrassed my son is when it happens! I am the one who cleans him!

My friend's mom is in the hospital, very sick, battling breast cancer, & the doctors found out too late that she had cancer, & they said the cancer is spreading rapidly all over her body. She's expected to have less than a week to live, & my friend is sad, depressed, & crying a lot & doesn't wanna be bothered with anyone-not even me! I understand how she feels, though. Breast cancer runs in her family, & she had a 17-yr. old sister who died from it last year.

the fragility of human life?

i lost an uncle in april. i wasnt that close to him then - there's something weird about teens - but i know i would have been very tight with him if i werent a teen..

and then im so afraid i'd lose my granparents cos they seem to slip further back track since they lost their favourite son. they'r really depressed. and i cant help feeling depressed when i see them depressed.. i love them but i dont know how to express myself, and im afraid i'd lose them too. they'r both in their 70s. and they were and still are living in that deceased favourite son's house.

and it doesnt help that my gran loves to hoard things (they were poor in the past) and that my mum throws away her things. my gran is now angry with my mum cos she just had an expensive bar of soap bought from japan, thrown away by my mum.

My boyfriend and I have been together almost 2 years. We have both been married before and are in our late 30s/early 40s. We have talked (and talked, and talked) about marriage. He knows I want to get married again and have children. He says that he would like to have more children (he was one). We love each other and have felt a high level of comfort since day one. To make matters worse, we are in a long-distance relationship.

I am preparing to move to the next phase of my life, which includes marriage and kids. I will not give him an ultimatum, but I'd like to let him know that I have to move forward if I expect to still have children.

Q: Do I tell him that I'll be moving forward? Or do I move forward and let him figure it out. I don't want him to feel that it is an ultimatum, because in the end, it's not about him. It's about what I want in my life. Appreciate any comments.

I have been trying forever. I become extremely nervous. I have had panic attacks.

Once upon a time, I was accused of (but not terminated for, no grounds) sexual harassment. It has been obsessing me since. Whenever I talk to any women at work, I become very paranoid and nervous. I can't make the thoughts stop. I have been punishing myself for 10 years so far.

First I will start by saying I am in a very happy marriage, I have no problem with what I am about to ask, I love my husband and I know he loves me. So here it goes.

Recently I have been getting some "comments" about my husband's parenting skills from my family. He works out of town 5 days a week and is home on weekends. He works his a** off to take care of his family. When he comes home he is exhausted from working 18 hours a day, so he is always tired. We have an 8 month old baby a 10yr old and an 8yr old. I am a stay at home mom and take care of the kids all the time. so when he is home he does not have the energy to play with the kids or to help take care of them. This being the problem with my family. they say he does not spend enough time with the kids. I understand he is tired from working and needs to come home and relax but my family thinks he should do more.

He helps out with cooking when he is here and laundry etc.. once he has had time to sleep. Is this ok?

I am getting married in February and am looking for a church to have the ceremony at. I am looking for something really pretty and reasonable in cost. I do not even know where to begin to look. We looked at Eliot Chapel in Kirkwood but they wanted almost $1200 and I thought that was a bit too much. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Me and my bf thinking to get married asap. The thing is we dont really know where to get married at. I want to get married in his country which in Europe but I dont know who I need to contact for a wedding planner there and what things I need to do here while I am in the States. I am so blind, don't know what I need to do first. It's not gonna be a big wedding but enough to celebrate among our family and close friends. Should I buy a wedding gown or rent it? my budget is kinda tight too? do people actually get a loan to plan a wedding, so they can have the wedding they want? do you guys have any idea? is there any website I can go to? thanks!

She's had primary custody of our son and I pay court-ordered child support and have ample visitation rights. She has agreed not to contest the divorce because we both have moved on. We want this over as quickly as possible. Plus I have been living in California the past 6 yrs. We are both from the state of Ohio and we got married there. We were separated before the birth of our son, but tests have concluded the he is mine and as I said earlier, I do pay court-ordered child support and I have visitation rights. So we agreed to a quick, low-cost solution.

If she enjoys someone's attention, love, and care, but at the same time constantly in the cycle of rejecting and being denail of having any feelings toward that person. Does it mean she is confused? Is that possible that one person needs to be loved but don't feel giving love in return in the long run, or love lies in her superconcious?
