WOW I never got so many answers to any question. Interestingly enough, FYI- she's over 25 and so am I. I think she might live with her Dad still though - But I'm independent.

Well... that's a tough one now a days. I would say email addresses are easier to give out because you can easily change them and block people you don't want to bother with anymore.... On the other had, the girl may be shy and not be able to say things on the phone that is easier for her to just type. So, I'd say it's a MAYBE!!!!

It sounds to me like they are not allowed to have boys call them but emailing is ok? Try emailing the person and see if you get a response. Strange, parents monitor phone conversations but don't have the brains to look at what their child is doing on the computer. Email the person, send a nice email. See what you get back as far as a response. It could be the person you asked out is not allowed to get phone calls but has access to the computer. So, like I said, email them and see what their response will be. I think you are setting yourself up for difficulty tho. If she is not allowed to give out her number, and is going behind her parents back with the internet crap. Either that, or she gave you her email so she could have the excuse of never receiving it, and she will blow you off. You won't know unless you email her, to see if she responds. If she responds, she is interested.

I would say its a yes, it is so easy to give out your# and have the guy call you! It takes a little more effort to log on ur computer and type up! Unless youre a computer person then it doesnt really matter! Im not usre if you understand, but If I was a chick and had a guy ask me for my # I would say "How about I give you my email address?"

I would say it is a no, because email is easier to ignore. Whereas if he's calling you, it's harder to just blow him off. So I think giving someone your email kind of implies that you don't really have an interest in them, and you MIGHT get back to them. It could be a maybe, or even a yes, it really all depends on how you say it...

That's saying hey drop me a line and we can maybe arrange something. She probably wants to get to talk to you and know you a bit better before just handing out her number... Maybe she's had a bad experience with men in the past? Anyways just email her and be your charming self and wait for her to reply.

I would think of it as a maybe because anytime I didn't really want a guy to call I would give him the phone number to dial-prayer and a fake name.Worked every time!

I think it could mean either of the three. You simply prefer to give him your email address as oppose to your telephone number to give him your answer. Maybe he will get a yes, no, or maybe. I see nothing wrong with it.

it's more a sucure thing because there was this really cute guy at silver lake and i would have definately gave him my email but not my number because then he could call non-stop and i couldn't do anything about it but i could just block his email address...so that girl is just probably playin it safe so that kind of thing doesn't happen ya know. so email her a couple times get to know her a little and then you will probably get the number.

I would say a maybe because if you really like someone, you would want them to call you. However, in this day & age, the girl may be taking smart precautions, but would still like to be contacted. So....go for it!
