I'm very smart, but I don't look nerdy or anything, do guys like that?

my major used to be Relationship Psychology and for a research project, I wanted to know what guys looked for in girls and vice versa. Intelligence ranked in the top 5 out of 30 qualities.
But, in my own experience, it really depends on the guy. If he has some intellect, he won't settle for some dumb cute girl for very long. I almost require a girl to have a certain amount of smarts before I start to a relationship with her. Unintelligent girls are just boring.

An intelligent woman is very attractive to men... but not boys. Boys have ego issues and need to feel Superior to others for the most part. Men have learned through age and experience that intelligence is a much more desirable aspect then appearance. Appearance doesn't hurt too of course = >

Intelligence in women is attractive to intelligent men. I'd much rather go out with a smart girl than a dumb one, because the conversation would be much better.

I like a smart as-s ! Quick wit, and a sharp tongue, a good sense of humor is a must, if a girl is "Funny", I find it VERY attractive !

Some guys like that (I do myself) but others go only for looks.

yes they like that and they like independant women. as men they feel like they have to take care of you but when they know that you dont need them in that way, they see a challenge in you and that attracts them to you even more because guys like challanges and like the feeling that they have to conquer...

it doesnt matter to me as long as a girls not rly stupid and doesnt even no the 7 continents otherwise its up to personality and looks
