I taught English for 10 years when I first graduated from college. First high school, then middle school. Loved the 7th graders cause they still had lots of curiousity. After I married and had two children, I stayed home with them for 15 years! Quite a maternity leave!! It was such a blessing to be able to quit my job and devote myself to my boys. Now that they are teenagers I've returned to work, but not as an English teacher. Now I work in my youngest son's middle school as a Special Ed. Assistant. I love the kids and my coworkers, but still have time after school to spend with my boys or doing housework... no papers to grade. When they go off to college I plan to return to teaching English. What do you want to study? You are learning so much by staying home with your child(ren).Even if some days feel useless, they aren't!

I am a part time x-ray tech, full time (plus overtime) mom, and a farmer. My husband is a nurse in the cath lab and a farmer. We both work at the same hospital and work opposite days so when I am at work he is at home with the kids. We have 3 boys. I love this arrangement!! I work two 10 hour shifts per week. I highly recommend it. I get to spend LOTS of time with the kids. Good luck at school!!

I did work in the school system with autistic kids but last year I moved to junior alternate. Big learning curve there! I'm thinking about doing tutoring on the side, hey yah, what has this got to do with marriage and divorce?

I take care of people's pet when they aren't home.
Either they are at work and I walk their dogs regularly through the week. Or if they go on vacation and need someone to take care of their pets.
I have MS.
So I am very limited to what I can do for work.
I was taken off of work by my doctors.
But found my love for animals, may save me.
The walking is very good for my condition, and taking care of the animals is very good for my heart ;)
