I am getting married in February and am looking for a church to have the ceremony at. I am looking for something really pretty and reasonable in cost. I do not even know where to begin to look. We looked at Eliot Chapel in Kirkwood but they wanted almost $1200 and I thought that was a bit too much. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It wasn't a church, but my daughtger got married in the Jewel Box in Forest Park. We rented the whole place for 2 hours, was very reasonable. They had a list of pastors and officiates that would perform the service there. All we had to do was show up at appropriate time.

I think you should check to see if you can find a clergyman or J.P. that would come to where the reception is to be held.
I gave a J.P. 30 dollars and an invitation to the reception
for him and his wife.
I'm sure you can do something similar.
28 years now and I'm still married. How much you spend on the wedding dosen't mean squat!!!
