Ok, I have my nieces right now and their mom is trying to come and get them tues. My brother, their dad, has joint custody and he is going to sign me over guardenship. I want to know how I can keep her from coming to get them? their parents are divorces, he is trying to get on his feet right now and then he will come get the kids. She has been arrested 3x for drug possession, is in an abusive relationship and Her husband hits her infront of the kids. they are mistreated so bad when they are with her. they have headlice everytime I go pick them up when they live with her, her house is nasty, she does not take care of these kids. how do I stop her? I dont have the money to hire an attorney or I would. I want to keep these kids so they can at least have a normal life.

I am only asking because I thought a bridal shower is usually for more personal items for the bride only; lingerie, perfume, jewelry, etc. This one is for the couples household items, kitchenware (pampered chef). I feel is is silly to go and purchase an item from this catalog and then buy yet another household item for the wedding. So giving a combined $50.00-60.00 gift is what I wanted to do. I am not trying to be cheap, but out my husband's 2 nephews and 4 nieces , there have been 2 weddings and 2 graduations in very close proximity and it is getting expensive. And there will be yet another graduation and possible wedding soon.

1. I have never met her
2. Don't know if she will be registered anywhere, Wedding invitations have not been mailed.
3. She is marrying my husbands nephew
4. The Grandmother of the groom (my M.I.L.) is also doing the same thing
5. Husband is clueless on this subject

my best freind is a boy (i am a girl) every time i mention him my older sister starts teasing me about fancying him and no matter how much i disagree she carries on, i even tried to reverse it an say yh so what if i did but that made it happen even more, recently my parents have also started joining in and nomater what i say to explain to them that it upsets me they carry on so how can i make them understand that a boy and a girl can be freinds and nothing more????

We need to stop doing this America...
I think I should let it be known now, just because you don't pay child support it does not make you a bad person!! Now, if you are a wanted serial killer, or rapists, or child molester then I could see how someone could categorize you as a bad person. Society wants you to think that if you don't pay chilld support to your chilld then you are a bad person.
What if you are an otherwise good person? You went to college, you've never been arrested or sent to jail before, you may even have another family of your own. It sounds like a decent person, but if you don't pay child support, you're a bad one? There are people out there that are only being left with a few dollars to support themselves after they pay for child support...do we as society even care what happens to him or his family or his other children? Doesn't he/she have to support himself, and pay the rent also? As I said..ITS RIDICULOUS. If you don't know the life of that person don't judge!

My mother-in-law lives with me and my husband. She's very loney and depressed. She's over 350lbs. and doesn't care to watch her diet and eat healthy. She claims she can't eat beans cause they make her tummy hurt! And when we go to fast food places, we spend an easy $10 just on her food! She drinks all the milk in the house that my children, (2 &3 yrs. old) need. I have to buy a gallon every 2 days! And she doesn't bathe regularly! She bathes every 2-3 months and she smells horribly all the time! Even her room reeks! You pass by the closed door to her room in the hallway and you can still smell it! She says she's fine. But we know better. And she sleeps all day long, and comes out to eat, then goes back into her room and sleeps more! I don't know how to tell her? And I'm ired of staying up for late night movies, and seeing her in the nude walking to the bathroom! It's gross! I should be nice because she helps me with my boys, and because I'm pregnant. But I'm ready for her to get out!

I was talking to this guy. Sex came up because he knows I'm a virgin, and he basically said he wouldn't let me sleep with him until he thought I was ready. Since when did it become his choice? My husband is 8 years older than me. He would prefer to have sex every single day as much as twice a day! But I would prefer to have sex once every other week! He gets really cranky when he has to wait until I get in the mood. He acts like a woman on her period! I'm trying to compromise to once a week, occasionally twice a week. But it's hard for me to do that. I guess I have alot on my mind, with kids, chores, and all my other extra-curricular activities. I need some advice.

There is a woman I really like. I was with her the other night. She is 5'8" and 300 lbs. I am 6'1" and 200 lbs (I am not fat - muscular). She was fantastic in bed. When we did it missionary and doggie style the sex was great. She wanted to be on top but I was a little scared the weight would be too much. When sending text msgs, I rarely select phone #'s from my cell phone book as I type it in if I know the # by heart. I was txting my boyfriend last night telling him that I'd come meet him in an hour and texted my ex-bf on accident not realizing I typed in his number instead of my boyfriend's (their cell #'s start w/ the same prefix). My bf saw his # as I was going through my sent txts and is really upset with me. I can understand where he's coming from in that it looks as though I tried getting in touch w/ him, but it was an honest mistake & I was upfront w/ my boyfriend that I did that on accident w/o even realizing it until I was going through my txts. I haven't spoken to my ex since our break up and have no desire to have him in my life as I'm in love with my boyfriend. I just typed in his number on accident - I typed his # every day for the 6 yrs of our relationship! It was a habit. Any opinions would be appreciated. I feel so bad that I hurt my boyfriend...

I have grown up in the Christian Church I am not catholic. Do they allow non-catholic's to get married in the catholic church if your a christian? I want to get married in a catholic church because it is soooo much prettier. Will they allow it? and does my wedding have to contain catholic customs?

One of my bridesmaids dropped out of my wedding thats in 2 weeks. Luckily, I have a great friend who was able to step up and replace her. Problem is, the bridesmaid dress is a size 14, and this new bridesmaid is like a size 4. Is there any way a tailor can alter the dress enough to make it fit her?

My mom keeps trying to get me to plan things with my friends but most of them are outa town and the ones that arent i dont know there cell or house numbers. And every day this summers she's been saying "oh you need to go bowling with such and such" and "oh call nick see if he wants to go swimming" and " we'll wait for when nicks in town to go to the water park" (the water park she wants to go to is kiddy and im 13). And i dont like letting her get into my social life to much cuse that will be the only thing she talks about and she will question everything acting like she's in it. saying " oh is she/he still going out with he/she?" and going on and on acting like she's in it, and ive grown quite scared of letting her in cuse of all that. And I hardly go out with friends or let her near them cuse she'll act all weird acting like she's still in it. how do i get her to stop so i can visit friends more? (and im not trying mom lay off, she'll think im doing somethin bad and ask more ?'s)

I threw him a bday party at my house. His 28yr old dghtr & his neice (in-law) are not exactly supportive of "us" - so they came begrungingly & when the neice's son was accidently hurt - they used my son as an excuse to up & leave saying that it was not an accident to my byf - but to all others it was. My byf says he believes me, but has yet to speak up to either of them about it. Rather he's choosing to let it go saying "I dont care what anyone says anymore" - I feel as though it is now unresolved. This is not the first time they have pulled or said something that makes him feel guilty for wanting to move forward with our relationship or that he's abandoning them & they say it's not me it could be anyone - but enough is enough already - it's been 10 mo. of hell & getting worse now that MY child has been used - now I draw the line! I'm just worried that if he's not sticking up for us now - will he ever do it or am I to just accept his family never showing "us" respect?

I am trying to explain to my single guy friend that it's not a good idea to go out alone with his best friends wife. The best friend tells him to take his wife out when he's going out of town so that she wont be lonely, or so that she wont be hanging out with her sleezy girlfriends at the clubs.
I know that the married couple doesn't have a strong marriage and are always fighting---in which she phones the single guy often to cry, etc. Her husband doesnt know she does this.
I told my single friend that if he really cared about his best friend he would decline the offers of hanging out with the wife. She obviously is "into" him, and it's a betrayal of their friendship. What do you think?
