Family & Relationships - 9 August 2007

There has been a lot of stress in my husbands family. As a result his parents are going through a very rough patch. Everytime something happens we are called upon to save the day. I am so tired of our time being spent solving other peoples problems. I do feel l like you have to support your family to a point but I also feel like we are simply being used as a crutch. My frustration is building and I don't feel like we should have to be the firefighters all of the time. We do have our own lives/marriage to worry about as well. I am tired of running and jumping everytime we get a phone call. Any advice?

I have a guy friend that is okay looking but can never seem to get girls, because he has low self-esteem and carries himself poorly...as in, he acts really quiet, stiff, and nervous around people. He is afraid to show his emotions or be assertive, and as a result people often mistake him for being a "slow" person even though he's not(he has a Bachelor's degree!).

I told him about these guys that I recently met that have their own p*rn site. My friend wouldn't fit in on that site, b/c the guys' site is for tattooed alternative-looking guys & my friend just doesn't have the confidence or look. But my friend is considering other kinds of p*rn, so he can make some money but (most importantly) get laid so that his confidence will go up. Good idea or bad idea?

Also, what's a good way to get started? Are there any sites that will take inexperienced guys? For example, videos featuring a seductive school teacher seducing geeky guys? Ideas?

Now obviously this will differ with size, clarity, etc. I'm just asking in general. What I have in mind is a carat center stone with some baguettes on the side (no idea what size for those) in platinum (or white gold).

What's yours like and how much did he (or you) spend on it?

We really have no idea here, but please, don't give me the two months salary rule.

My boyfriend and i broke up. And i have packed up all his things and am ready to send it all back. Im not so sure about him though. I dont know if he's dome the same. I really want my stuff back. Im not sure how to get it back though. We dont talk anymore and if we do, he ends up pissing me off. Should i send an email, call him, or go over to his place?? If i call him, what do i say? Idk what to do, and i want my things back!!!

Any ideas how you guys got your stuff back after a breakup?

Well. I was with this girl in high school..she ended up moving to las vegas with her dad, and we didnt want to break up because we still love each other..so we decided to wait till we can move together, were were arguing one night and we split up..we got back together a few days later...and now shes telling me while we were split up, she went drinking with some of her friends and she was really sad, and one of her friends took advantage of that,,and had sex with her..and now she thinks she pregnant..I Still really love her, but I dont know what to do, if I should stay with her..even though I dont trust her much anymore..or leave her.

I'm 24 years old women who is tried of being single. I never have a boyfriend and never be on a date. I just tried to see my friend been happy with they boyfriend and going on date. They last time I get noticed from a guy was about two years ago, and they only thing he want from my is sex. I tell the guy "I not that kind of girl". Then he stop talk to me. I have a lot of guy friends, but they have girlfriend, and they are just good friend to me. I never find a guy that is attraction to me. Some of me girl friend say "I'm pretty girl, a good person, very care person, respect and help people, and think of others before me."

I know I'm know I a good person, but I don't feel pretty girl.
The reasons I think that know men don't want is because I'm Black (median dark), over wieght (about 190 pds), short hair (my hair length touch my shoulder), my face don't have clear skin, and I'm virgin.

I just want to know what I'm doing wrong that men don't want to be with me and what can I do?

Sometimes i get so tired of being lonely. I am single, all my friends are backstabbers, my sisters are too caught up with each other or their friends, etc. I dont know what to do anymore. I am married for 13 years, and I guess I have been neglectful with my wife. I play an instrument for 1to 2 hrs a day after work (I consider this therapy). An on the weekend I fly airplanes from 8:00am to 12:00 non everey saturday. On the other hand me and my wife will go camping and do outdoor stuff toguether at least once a month, and we go shopping toguether every week.
I must say I could be more romantic with her.
Ont he other hand I have 2 wonderful kids and they are bussy doing their thing, and I feel that overall the family needs to do more stuff toguether.
Am I overdoing my personal time?. Is my wife right in saying that all I want to do is play my instrument and fly?
She thinks a schedule of sorts is not a good idea, she needs me when she needs me...
I think personally it could be doing worse things.... but maybe I'm wrong...

Hubby is mentally abusive and has financially ruined us. IRS problems, legal problems, in debt to no end and I can not take it anymore.I have no job and have no skills , I have been a stay at home wife because that is what he has needed me to do. He has had multiple back surgeries and is still in a lot of pain and I feel guilty for wanting to leave . If I leave I have to give up my cat that I have had for 10 years because I can not take him with me , family has dogs . It is going to pretty much kill me if I have to give my cat up but if I do not do what I have to do , I feel I want to die sometimes . Please help me !!!!! I can not live with this gutt wrenching pain everyday . I am physically sick and feel as if I am losing my mind.

Hey guys, well.. i m gonna be 18 in 58 days.. and I made a promise to myself that i would go on a date and kiss a guy before i was 16, then i pushed it to 18, and now it looks like i m gona have to push it to 21..i ve been on a date .. but havent done nethin...

Hi, I am sepereted now, and live with my son. Divorce will be the best solution. The thing is what now? Doing my job a meet lot of people, and sometime they ask me if I am merried... (and I don't now what to say...) I am not legaly divorced, and in the same time if I sead that I am seperated is like I give them "green light",(I notice that...) I won't to be polite, but also not to go and explain things to people who don't deserve.
