It all depends.
My first marriage was sort of arranged (I was pregnant) and that was terrible!
Now my second is a love match and is great.
But I have a friend that married for love and is miserable and another friend who married a man picked by her parents and is very happy...
It all depends on the people.

i think marriage is good for those who plan, and want to put forth the effort to spend their lives together.
i think that many people rush right in without "knowing" each other -- they dont' discuss finances, goals, plans about children or anything.. those who think they can live on love alone these days are blind-sighted.
people fall in love, it happens all the time. it's great for those who do.

Arranged marraiges are for people who are too WEAK to do what's best for themselves.
If you LOVE someone and yet marry someone simply because your parents say its best, you deserve to be miserable.
