I am very confused and angry on what i should do about a problem that i am having...My bf and i have been together for 8 years, it hasnt been the best for about the last 4...We have a 2yr. together and im afraid that his abusive ways are going to destroy our son. I dont want our son to develop these habits. My bf grew up around this with his parents and has a bad temper, hits things, spits in my face ( as of last night) he had never went that far before and today i just dont know what to do. I still have contact with my family but i am not as close with them as i use to be since i have been with him. So i feel that i have no place to go and i have a child to worry about...I want to leave but dont know where to go or what to do..We just cant get along anymore,money is an issue as well. My son will walk up to the wall and slap it for no reason..im just afraid that my bf has done it enough now that its to late.all i can do anymore is cry b/c im afraid its to late..any adivce is helpful

She started to accuse him because he didnt want to get her a new computer and she said it happen back when she was little she said that it was when he was teachin her how to swim he accidently grabbed her in the wrong place because his hand slipped due to the water, and she is causing some much pain to the family her mother believes my father in law there relationship is still good ,since his stepdaughter and her older sister have mind control over there mother they had himm leave the house even though its under his name.My question is what legal action can he take to clear his name.they have threathen him by saying they will take him to court and calling the police it is going on almost a year and have not taken any legal action against him all they are doing is just scarring him.If any one has any advice i will appreciated,. Okay, just looking for some good advice, not criticism. My brother is engaged to a girl who has been married twice already. They are planning a huge bash next summer (250+ to the wedding and reception). They have asked me to stand up in teh wedding, but I do not agree with it and haven't really made my decision yet. She is planning to fly to Miami to have a designer dress made and have booked a $25,000 reception. This is her 3rd marriage (who knows how long its going to last) and I feel like they are getting married because both of them were lonely. My brother makes good money and I feel like she is taking advantage of it. If you were in my shoes, what would you do? Its hard to stand by and watch my brother be used. I feel like he is honestly blind to all of her games.

I feel like I forgive people who have wronged me... but I must be in denial because whenever I'm hurt AGAIN by that person I seem to recall the bigger more painful hurts as well. As a wedding guest, what distinctions would you make for a wedding couple you "love" versus a wedding of a couple you simply like? anything? Gifts, willingness to travel, money expenditure? Is there no holds barred for one you love, where there are things you would not do for a more casual friend?

I have been seeing this man for 4 months. We started dating & after watching him for a weekend getaway, I realized that he wasnt ready to be in a relationship. He is just out of a 7yr marriage & he has a lot on his mind all the time.
I said to him "let's take the stresses of this & just take thing slow. No pressure of BF/GF & it can be friends with benefits for now.
I told him last week that my feeling were getting stronger for him & I still realize that we are not in a committed relationship, but I wanted him to be aware.
Last night I asked him if he was dating anyone else. He said NO. I asked him if he was sleeping with anyone else. He said NO. Then I told him I knew that he was sleeping with someone else & I was disappointed he lied to me. He said he is not accountable to anyone. I said if we are truely friends, you would respect me and not lie.

Do I have any ground to stand on? What to say to him now? HELP!!

How can I tell my friend that pot is really screwing her up. She has to do it everyday. I used to live with her and she had to smoke before doing anything. Cleaning, going out, ect.... She says it helps with anxiety but I said it is just making it not be yourself. Anxiety is a part of life. I said maybe you should stop and she says well pot is not a real drunk anyways.

My friend has two girls my daughters age and they just love hanging out and playing together. My freind is constantly saying she's going to take them with us and then when they show up its just the little girls and her husband. We all end up going swimming or going to play. Well I've told her time and time again my husband when he's at work he doesnt want me hanging out with any guys. No matter if they are married gay or straight just no guys. She keeps making dates for the kids and never showing up or saying shell be late and never shows up but we end up taking the girls anyways. I want my daughter to be able to play but I'm tired of getting into trouble about it. How do I handle the situation. Also when her husband and me are together he always talks about how he wants a divorce and i never give him any advice other then do what makes you happy. I don't want to be in the middle of this.

I messed up, I know. The thing is that I completely fell in love with this person of my Master's Degree class. I attended it in another city and only came back home on the weekends. During the school year, the distance made me realize many things that I didn't like, about myself, my wife and our relationship. Now she's pregnant again – accident or not, who knows now – and I am in love with a person, who also wants to be desperately with me. I never felt this with my wife.

My heart in shambles. I can't imagine a common future with my wife knowing that my heart is open to someone else. Some tell me you should live for your family, some say I should follow my heart. I am in the eye of a hurricane. Is there anything like re-loving someone?

My boyfriend and I have been looking at venues and are thinking about having the wedding in Manhattan. Being our family is from Brooklyn and Staten Island, we figured it will be best to have a combo ceremony & reception at the same place. I was just wondering when the pictures should be taken?
Since it's in the fall (we are leaning towards November), the natural lighting will be darker in the evening unlike the summer... so I figured that typical out door photos will be out of the question. Has anyone ever experience something like this? Even if you haven't, any advice is great!

I met this guy yesterday through my friend. He was very friendly but one VERY annoying thing about him was that he would be telling me a story and then he throws in a sentence about how hot some girl was. Like his little sister's babysitter. He was talking about riding his bike to his friends house when his sister's babysitter arrived. He was like she's smokin hot. How do you get over someone that you have always loved? I have no idea how he feels about me anymore. After two years of not seeing him I thought I was over him. Then I saw him and those feelings were all still there. I have dated other guys and seen what is out there. It just is not helping. Things were over between us because he had personal things to work out. It had nothing to do with his relationship with me.

Okay so I know the title of this question seems really shallow but I have been dating this girl for 8 months now and we're both very serious about one another. Just recently it was discovered by both her and I that her mother had opened credit cards in her name and had put her $13,000 + in debt. After first talking about this I was livid that her mother would do that to her, and my girlfriend still let her off the hook as her mother claimed she was "trying to make ends meet". None the less we let 2 months ride out and while she is making payments they aren't making a dent since she isn't paying off enough and all of which are late. The story gets worse as my girlfriend had some medical issues to which her father agreed to pay 75% of the cost and the mother 25% (parents are divorced), and none the less it was once again found out that the mother neglected to pay any of the bill. Anyways I need some advice as to what I should do! Please help!
