My grandmother is having problem and they just tell me to leave the room, or they give me the watered down version. I am a resposible, mature young adult, so why do they do this?

they think they are protecting you.

you could let them know that while you understand they are trying to protect you, you also live in the real world and believe you have the right to know what is going on with your own grandmother.

I have a very strong idea that your Parents are trying to help your Grandmother with a problem and she has asked them to keep it confidential. There are some things that adults do not need to share with children.

All right the thing is why do you let that bother,i used to be treated the same way and today i understand why they actually did it.Jst don't worry bout it some day u'll understand.
