I met my husband on new year's eve into 2006 .we moved in together six months later and then got married two months after that. well, shortly after , he bagan to txt other women and emialing them , chatting with them online . I found out by checking his cell & seeing the msgs he sent an received, I was hurt and crushed and for 4months , kept checking hoping he would stop. finally at the end of April we sat down and cleaned out our dirt closet and he said the reason it went on for so long was because it became a competition for his ego, to show that I had no control of what he did and should stop snooping and things would change. In June me still being wounded, checked his phone , this time he had set me up with a txt msg frm a male friend pretending to be a girl.He said he was tired of my snooping and wanted a dirvoce. later , we both sat down and resovled this and I bared all my hurt , everything.after that , I had not had a need to snoop and search thru his things coz secure

A lot of you answered my question about the rock music for a wedding and thank you so much for your opinions. Now what I'm wanting to know is this.. The wedding and the reception are in the same place, a fancy officers club on the base. Now, when I'm making the cd, do I put 'our' song, the one that we dance to, first.. (We're not going to have the aisle music and if I decide to it'll be on a seperate cd) Or do I put just a few regular songs first and then the one that we dance to. I'm totally out of my element here guys and I have no idea what I'm doing. Your experience and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I met a guy a few weeks ago and he was holding my hand on the first date and trying to stick his tongue in my mouth on the second. I met him online and the dates have been good except the fact that he keeps going on about how pretty I am and asking me if I am a passionate sensual woman. I am interested in passion and romance and all that but as a lady, I don't give sex out freely. I had mentioned having some financial issues a couple weeks back (although I work hard, I don't make much money) and he offered no help although he drives a 50k car and his children are grown. He talks about wanting to take me to cancun and all that (every trip he mentions involves the beach which I am not really into as I don't have a beach body). He emailed me today after not being in touch for several days. I know I shouldn't expect him to help me out financially, after all I'm not his wife, but then again I don't think he should expect sex because I am not his wife. Are guys just takers?

I have been with this for a year and half and she changed when she got preg. I left her 2 months before she had him. But I helped her out through prenatal time. At the hospital I was beside her every second. We got back togather because she said she changed. She cheated and didnt tell me baby could be her xbf. She lied until 2 months before birth. DNA said he is mine. These past 3 weeks I moved out of my own home I dont think I can take this anymore shes childish but shes a good mommy. I do love her but I dont know if its for babys sake or if I really love her. This last week I have been talking to someone else and it seems almost all the trouble I will have to deal with is worth putting up with her. But I feel like sometimes she never grew up. She so childish. She constantly spends money we dont have and dont care if she dont get what she wants its hell for weeks. Should I go back to her for baby sake and what do I do to know if I still love her.

for the past 6 months i have been toiling with the fact i have lost the love for my partner, it was the hardest thing i have ever had to go through because i loved him so truly before. I told him last night after and he was a wreck, i comforted him the best i could but i t was really hard for me too. The only thing that stopped me from telling him before is i know he still loves me and it would break his heart, which it did, how do i help him and myself to get through this difficult time?

I have been noticing a lot of men asking questions about why all of the ladies choose a "bad boy" over the nice guy. It got me thinking and made me wonder If I am with a bad boy because I know I will be satisfied in bed.
Can nice guys have a freaky side? Or do they just want to make slow, passionate love? If you consider yourself to be a nice guy are you into spanking, hair pulling, and rough sex?

Just wondering, Thanks!

My uncle commited suicide a little less than 4 years ago. He had no children of his own but raised his commonlaw wifes from a previous marriage. She left him (and its assumed she was cheating with his brother) He felt overwhelmed with debts, got drunk and in the end he took his life.
I feel complete resentment towards that family. Even the kids. I don't know why. I know it wasn't their fault but I can't even talk to them and I haven't been to that house since the day it happened. I won't go back. My mom and I were going to move in with him to help us all out, but before we could it was over.
Does this every go away? I feel guilty that I can't let go of my anger towards them even though I have forgiven him for his actions. I don't want to be a ***** but I'm tired of them being the victims when I feel like they could have prevented it.
Someone smack some sense in to me or am I even wrong to feel this way?
Please help. Give advice and personal experience if possible.

It seems like, every guy that I take a genuine interest in is married (obviously his wife sees the same qualities I do, that's why she snatched him first!). I met this guy that I think is the most beautiful creature, and he wears no ring. He is always "eyeing" me, so I'm like, "Ok, maybe I'm not alone in this attraction. This one might be a winner". Come to find out (AFTER the fact), he's married. If a couple decides to not wear rings (which is fine, if they decide that), the man needs to "act married", meaning, if he's NOT wearing a ring and if he is "subtly" flirting, its inappropriate and misleading to the single woman--not to mention very frustrating and disheartening. I meet guys all the time (half of them not worth the skin they're in), but when I take a genuine interest in a man, he's married. Its like I have this chemical in me that subconsciously draws me to them, when I would NEVER cross the line with a married man. What's the deal with these men not wearing rings?

Okay, I'm usually not one to display my problems on here, because I'm well aware that everyone has their own to deal with. The thing is, I just want some insight. I'm going through a rough patch in my life right now. My brother is very very sick, and it's only time before he dies. I don't know what to do, or even how to act.. I don't even know how to cope with this. I want to be there and I want to show him I care but something inside of me just makes me turn away for some reason. I'm not sure if it's kinda like self defense, that I put on... but really I'm just lost here, and wondering if anyone out there has gone through the same thing I am right now. How do you deal with it? How do you face life after death?

My girl friend wants to keep her family name after marriage, so expectedly our family name would be hyphenated.
My question is when we put our family names hyphenated together, which place (before or after hyphen) holds more important name?
For example, her family name is Howard and my family name is Stewart. She wants our family name to be Howard-Stewart. Since she thinks the name after hyphen is more important than the one before, she wants to allow me to put my name after hyphen. I thought, however, that the place before hyphen was more important because it comes first in the family name (what is more important normally comes first). If that's the case, the name would be Stewart-Howard. Who is right? How do most of people do this?

Reminders: I am a guy and she wants to put my name on more important place in our hyphenated family name.

My wife and I got married on September 25, 2006. Unfortunately for me, our anniversary is on September 25, 2007. That's the day Halo 3 comes out and my friends were going to have a big party for the game. My wife doesn't like video games but I really want to play Halo 3 with my friends on that day. What do I do?

This is a kinda long story...my boyfriend and I have been dating for over a year...and I wouldnt say that we have a "fairytale" relationship but we are very good together. We get along and enjoy doing the same things. Well he had dated this girl before me...and from what everyone says she was only after his money and used him. Well...we started dating around May of last year...and everything is going great...no probs that I could tell. Well he use to work for Time Warner and had a work phone that no one had changed his message on...so in March I called it...and checked the messages on there...that might be bad but I was just curious to see if anyone had left him a message. Well...she had left him 2 messages! And they were like hey it's me just call me when you get a chance...so I didnt think anything of it...I asked him about it...but more than anything I was apologetic for checking because that's not something I normally do...ok well of course I kept checking periodically just

I just told my Dad I am pregant. His response was that he feels he has failed as a father because of it. I am going to be 20 when the baby is born and am in school part time along with working full time and have my own apartment with my boyfriend of four years. His plans for me were originally to graduate college, get a career, find a good hubby and then have kids. Well those were my plans too, but life happens in weird ways and never the way you plan it to be. How should I go about discussing this with him? What should I say?

**Also he wasnt around alot when I was a younger so it is hard to talk about this with him**

I have been married for over 7 yrs. I married my wife because she was my best friend, a wonderful person and i loved her. She is pretty and I was attracted to her because of those things, but she has always been a bit overweight. We abstained from sex before marriage so it was fun at first.

As the yrs have gone on, she has kinda let herself go some. She's still pretty and a wonderful person but she is 5'4" and 180lbs. Needless to say, im not exactly attracted to her body anymore. What's tough is i am still in very good shape. I am 39 yrs old but am often told that i can pass for around 30 and often have attractive women look at express interest in me. I do not want to cheat but it makes me angry at my wife to just expect that i would never and she can just stay out of shape. We have talked about it and she knows how i feel. Now, she's bothered with me because i never want to have sex. We do it several times a month and thats only because she wants to have a baby soon. any advice?
