We used to work together. Love across the filing cabinets and all that. Good luck in your man hunt - try looking in different places to where you have been up until now - do you really want to find one drunk in a pub or club? Think about the type of man you want and where you might meet them - hence my comment about pubs and clubs - I'm not saying that's what you do - it's just an example. How about trying to make it fun and doing speed or internet dating? How about a friend's brother or friend of a friend? Just be careful about meeting people you don't know - be sensible. Good luck!

Well, having no other half myself I can only tell you bout the past. I met one at college (same class), I met one at Tesco (she was on the express lane I was buying coke), I met one a Uni (my 'band' were playing during freshers week). And then there's people I met in bars and clubs, but they never lasted. One girl came up to me with half a cigarette and asked for a light (not very subtle, but worked).
I too feel I should move from singleton, but due to apathy and lack of confidence I think I'll have to wait untill someone picks my stuff up and moves me, which probably won't happen.

I met my wonderful wife in College. More precisely, it was a freshman Poetry class that I needed to take as a requirement to graduate and she was taking as a freshmen. I started following her around until I got the courage to ask her out. We started dating and after 10 years and living in 4 different cities together, we got married.
Prior to meeting, we both had dated quite a few people and I think the reason why we ended up together has to do with timing (we both wanted to be in a LTR) and the initial attraction we share for each other (She is so HOT).
Good luck meeting Mr. Right, instead of Mr. Right-now.

He is a friend of a guy I work with. I decided to go to one of his partys one day and I met a bunch of new people and I met this one guy and I'm still with him. You have to just try new things and be not afraid to go new places and meet new people. Just go out and have fun and don't look so hard that is when you will find him. quote from some move..."Don't go looking for Mr. Right, look for Mr. right now. Soon the now part will just go away." Have fun honey and good luck. Don't ever settle just b/c your lonely.

Well I went out with my friend cause she had just started seeing this fella! She didnt really know his mates so she asked me to go with her! Keep her company! So I went! When I first saw him I thought he was gorgeous! I thought my luck was really in when he stuck the lips on me! A couple of days later he texted me asking me out! Now here we are 5 years on, living together and engaged!
So I thik my story proves that you dont need to be looking for love to find it!
