Ok, so my parents show on and off that they like him. That could put stress on someone, am i right? well my parents put so much stress on my boyfriend that now, he just doesn't care. he's not gonna try and impress them anymore. he doesn't even come down from his car to greet them when he comes to pick me up. when ever my parents have a birthday coming up, he doesn't even think to buy a gift, but is forced to by his wonderfully nice mother. his mom shows so much respect to my mom but my side of the family thinks they're so high above them!
What I'm worried about is that when it comes to him asking for my parents' blessing for us to be married, I'm afraid that my parents will say no because of how he's been acting lately. my parents are not gonna admit that they've been acting this way, but its up to them if I can get married or not.
Should I be worried?

Yesterday afternoon, a helicopter carrying 4 crashed into the mountain near Kachees Lake, in Washington. My mother is camping by herself, only 15 miles away, at Salmon Le Sac. There is no cell service there. The crash started a forest fire, and consumed 40 acres, as of last night (350 acres now). I was worried about my mom, and called my husband while he was at work. His response was "wow, that's not good." and that was it. No offers of support, no calming statements, and the tone of his voice was monotone. I was on pins and needles until after midnight. I contacted the fire department out there, and gave them her site information, and they went looking for her. All is fine, but I was still in a state of panick for half a dozen hours.
I got the impression from my husband, that he didn't see it as a big deal. How would you have reacted to the news, and what would you have done to calm me and reassure me that she was ok?

Only yesterday me and my older brother [14] and my younger twin sisters [10] found out that my mom was pregnant. I had to act really excited because my mom looked soo happy and i didnt want to let her down. Im worried that when we have family over, the new baby is going to get all the attention. I cant help being jealous and i cant tell my mom about it because i dont want to upset her. What should i do? Just keep it a secret and stay angry or let myself go and possibly hurt someones feelings?

ok so this is the story.........

i have been with my boy for 2 and a half years now, we had a massive arguement the other week over something stupid the other day and it got out of hand verbally (which it always does) but basically i was in the pub with my cousin and by bf walked past and saw me chatting to some guy which was my cousins mate (but is in long term relationship with someone who was sat inside!)

i sed some horrible things and he did too but one comment is playing on my mind over and over again - he sed he has slept with my my mate???? i was like WHAT and he sed yeh ive slept with her and ive always sed she is ugly but she was just a good shag. i asked him which mate it was but he never sed

i burst into tears flooding my bedroom with my tears and feeling my heart braking into half thinking how could he do this??? then i text my two best mates saying you slept with my boyfriend and they both immediately rang me saying what are you talking about? .....

I look around at the celebrity divorce cases and it appals me that some of these women are so greedy. I fully agree with child support payments, but if the mother has a job, why should she get a chunk of money as well? Why can't she learn to budget? Is she really entitled to continue living a lavish lifestyle off of her ex's earnings?

Before anyone asks, I'm female. And I know this often happens in real-life divorce cases too- they just don't make the headlines as much.

My wife just turned 20 and im 21......we have been fighting a long time but its not a constant thing. I know every relationship isn't perfect and I know people fight, but when is it time to say I QUIT shes dealt with a lot of stuff from me and I have dealt with a lot of stuff from her but we seem to always end up fighting about something so stupid....we have good times but it seems like she hates me. Its gotten to the point where she cusses at me every time we fight by calling me some nasty names and I to her. Is it time to call it quits or should I let this dog keep bleeding and see if he can patch up his wounds???

My husband and I blended our families to include four teens. We've been married nearly 5 years and recently took custody of his two children, I fought hard to help get them.

MIL constantly takes her BIO grandchildren shopping to buy them clothes, showing up unannounced to take HER grandchildren places and always leaves my two behind.

Last week she kept HER grandchildren for the entire week, took them several fun places. They came home telling all about it. I raise my kids myself. My mom lives out of state and their dad isn't in the picture. I feel I have to make up to my kids for the lack of grandparents in their lives.

MIL complains to her friends how she HAS to provide food and clothing for our family because we can't?!?!?! We've never ask her to do anything because of this reason.

My husband says ignore her, she won't listen, no stopping her and she's going to complain whether she actually does it or not.

I'm tired of my kids hurting and I'm near divorce to be rid of her.

Read about this family at http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070803/ap_on_fe_st/17_kids and let me know what you think. It doesn't seem to me that it's fair to a child to be put in that sort of situation. First, I'd find it hard to believe that there's been no financial impact. Seventeen coats, pairs of shoes, etc., not to mention all the food. Secondly, children need attention from their parents. How much attention can you have to give when it's got to be divided like that?

My wife caught me smoking behind her back. In the beginning she told me that she would never be with me if I smoked and I quit for her. But I recently started again and she caught me. Now she is totally upset and she doesn't think she can trust me anymore. I am completely in love with her and will do anything to gain her trust and foregive me for my actions. Please help me get my wife back.

My boyfriend and I have been living together for about 4 months, and lately I feel like we act more like roomates than significant others. When we get home from work, we're tired. I'll make dinner, and we used to make an effort to eat at the table, but now it's just easier to sit in front of the tv. The rest of the night is spent in front of the tv, him watching, me reading. I miss talking and chatting with him, but he always complains that since he talks all day at work, the last think he wants to do at home is talk. He also plans times to hang out with his friends during the week. I don't mind that at all, in fact, I relish my time at home alone. I just wish we could make more of an effort doing special things together too. It's like now that we live together, we don't have to make an effort to do anything fun or different. We're in a rut, and I've tried talking to him about it, but he just thinks I'm being a nag. Help! What do I do?

I have had a heart attack in 2003 and become on a cridical list for 5 years, with one and a half years to go. I remain single and with no companion because I beleive its unfair to bring someone into a relationship, when it may be short. But remain lonely. Am I right or wrong?

I had a horrible relationship with some jerk a few years ago. Everyone still laughs about it sometimes, they say it's like the vonage commercial where the geek leaves the girl in the ferrari (i drive a nice car and the guy was a geek). I'm not proud of the relationship, but I'm over it and so is everyone else, except my boyfriend. When we get in a fight or something he gets mad and mentions him. He'll say things like "o so that fat a**hole u used 2 date is better than me?" and for the record he was slightly chunky not fat, and things like that. when i threaten 2 leave him over this and other stupid behavior he does, he says things like "o i can see what a great judge of character u r, look at ur ex" etc. Im feed up with him waking the dead so 2 speak, its an old topic he cant seem 2 get over. he says it eats him up inside that i once had a serious relationship b4 him, he says in a way it feels like i cheated on him!! Any advice?

I've been married to her son for a few years and I have to twin girls but she always wanted her son to have a baby boy which I might not be able to give her so now she hates me! She keeps telling me what to do!

I was going to my parent's house a few weeks ago with my husband and kids so first I was wearing a skirt up to my knees with a cute top and it wasn't slutty at all. Then she said "no, you can't wear that,go change" so then I changed into capris and a another pretty shirt and she was going to say something but we just left then. She thinks I'm a slu* and I'm not, I never was. I don't know why she thinks I am though! I don't think she likes my kids either because their girls and she wanted a grandson. Help, what can I do?

well this week my husbanda car broke down so we only have the use of one car...I informed my mom and she suggested I use their extra car..aye heres the rub...she wants me to walk 1-2 miles with my 3 kids to her house..pick up her car, pickup my brothers and his friends (carpool) and then drive the care straight back to their house and walk back home with my kids...now this is the problem while I was doing this my father called often syaing he knew how many miles to and from the school and to make sure I fill up the car and not drive it anywhere else! by the way Im 27 years old.....so when I dropped off my brother I took some meat from my parents storage freezer outside..now they are calling the whole family saying Im a thief and I cant afford to feed my kids cuz of my boob job..(what a fallacy) I simply didnt have transportation...was I worng for that or was it simply fair trade? I fully believe that as my kids get older they are welcome to food and drink of any kind in my house

Is it possible to get pregnant even when using withdrawal method? I've read some studies saying that the pre-ejaculation fluid doesn't contain any sperm, unless the guy ejaculated within the last 12 hours and only then the fluid can pick up some sperms. This seems to be the only birth control method that works with me....I'm allergic to condoms, and my doctor said that with these other pills I'm taking I shouldn't take contraceptives... what do you guys think about using the withdrawal method?
