well i dont think it matters on what race the teenager is but an age they feel comfortable most parents prefer 15 or 16 to start but some like to start as young as 10 so just whenever they feel comfortable

well, I think you didn't have to mention the 'indian' part -- I don't know if you meant that there is some ethnic tradition, or whatever.

Personally, I think that teens should be allowed to date (no sex) when they get to high school, so about 15 years old.

My sis is 16 and dating ....I think that everyone should experience their life as it will help them in future ...I'm against about teen sex but yeah 16 n above sounds fine to me....

i think it depends on the teen. a lot of factors come into play here.
i would let him/her go out with big groups of friends until you can feel comfortable with the idea of dating. not much can happen iwth a big group of friends.
