It means that, if she was willing, he'd probably be with her.

Just go along and meet her. Observe how he acts with her and you can tell if she's a threat or not. You should still be the center of his attention most of the time even when he's with her. Just try not to be over sensitive and go in with an open mind.

Also, find out what kind of history they have.... maybe he's just very fond of her in a friendly way. Especially if they have known each other for a very long time.

Well, if he liked her as in more than a friend, he wouldn't have told you that she was cute, sweet, and funny. They might just be really good friends. Just meet her and if you think that they have this chemistry that make it seem like they like each other then talk to him about it and tell him that you feel uncomfortable.

sometimes our partners have friends of the opposite sex... this girl might just be sweet cute and funny!

if we dont' like the fact that our partners are close with a friend of the opposite sex, perhaps we need to rethink the relationship or look at our self-esteem.

if there isn't anything but a platonic, friendly relationship, then she should not be a threat.

He might have said that because thats how he sees you and he thinks you too would get along because you are soo similar. If he has never cheated before I wouldn't judge his feelings too quickly. He might just really think of this girl as a friend. Be cautious about it but dont' freak out. You don't want to upset him because you are judging him prematurly because that could drive him away.

I would not like it one bit!
But if you want to be the bigger person agree to meet her and see if they have any sparks. If they do, there might be trouble. Plus if you trust your man, and he knows that he has an amazing girl, and as long as he doesnt flirt with her right in front of you, trust him. That will also make you look good.

Figure out a time for the three of you to get together for coffee and watch them together. Maybe it is just a friend thing and you might like her too.

I would just come right out and ask if he is attracted to her or interested in her. If he says no, of course not. Then ask to meet her.

It sounds as if your boyfriend thinks nothing about flaunting her to your face, could be he likes the idea of you getting jealous. Meet her and she what she has to say.
