Hubby is short for husband. My husband calls me Wifey, and even bought me a shirt that says that on it. lol

women get called "Ball and Chain". It Makes us wives sound like slave drivers! Like our husbands are our prisoners for life! Think about it, why aren't husbands called that? I call my husband Daddy because He has a long first name that I am not particularly fond of.

"Hubby" is a name given ostensibly out of fondness, but in many cases it's a word that means "he's mine know, and he'll do as I tell him"
What a woman gets, is pretty much anything she wants, and at the snap of a finger, at that.
Don't get me wrong here, this is exactly the way it should be, IMHO.
