We went to a marriage counseling class and he committed to no more since he knew it bothered me. He went again and spent over $400.00 there and then lied. I only found out from the credit card statement. He of course is now saying he will not go again...already heard that. I am so hurt and devastated. I then went off and acted like a crazy woman yelling, screaming, threatening to burn his stuff, etc. We are now seperated...is it time to call it quits? We have been married for 7 years and none of them have been easy. I have 2 kids and we miscarried twins last year, which did not seem to phase him either. I am so lonely and so hurt.

My step son is 19 years old and does not have a job. He makes all kinds of excuses as to why he can't/won't get one. My husband still pays child support for him and all we are asking is that he at least go to college, which he hasn't done either. What should we do?

I moved in with my ex who is also my best friend about a month ago.We are high school sweet hearts and first loves.Growing up trying to find ourselves we hurt each other a few times,he tried to work it out but I said no.Something came up financially and since he is my best friend I am now living with him.Feelings came back so I tried to verbally tell him how I feel.He says he still loves me too but likes this other girl that every one keeps telling him she most likely doesnt like him.I dont want to feel like im stepping on toes, but if he hasnt even told her that he even likes her after all these months that he shouldnt close of his options and at least try.Since we live together I try not to bring it up but it always seems to find its way in the convo.Im going to be here for another six months and I have a lot of pride so I feel like i might be begging.I dont if I should keep trying even though he likes this girl that only sees him as a friend. Any advice? Why doesnt he want to try?

Heard this in Divorce Court. The wife was having a baby and and when she returned hom (the husband didn't visit), she asked him if he couldn't have brought her a bouquet at the hospital. She said the husband's reply was that the only bouquet he wanted to bring her was a wreath, and since he couldn't, he didn't bother.

I've been dating this guy for almost 3 months now and we've really connected well so far. We were talking the other night and he said he wanted our relationship to not only be "boyfriend-girlfriend" but also like best friends, like we could tell each other anything and be ourselves without worry. All that sounds pretty awesome but I'm scared to completely be myself around him because I'm so self-concious and I really like and admire him and I just want to keep him feeling the same about me..I'm scared to! Is that normal? What can I do?
Serious answers please :/

when my ex husband and i divorced i used to write him letters pretending to be a new girl he had met and send them to his girlfriends house where he lived and had them postmarked from another state. they never found out. i think i probably messed up every relationship he had for about 10years. (it's really ok because he was the worst lying dog i ever met. we did have 3 children and i did get over it about 12years later and we were able to be friends at that time. but don't tell him what i did, he still doesn't know.

She has to return to Paris to finish her MBA. Then she would like to move back to the US next summer (2008). Is it possible to make this relationship last for a year with limited visiting? I've been in many relationships before but never one tested with 3,500 miles between us. She's willing to make a go of it but I'm skeptical that it could work. Six months? Maybe. A year? I just don't know. A lot happens in a year.

Ok, I am really confused. I am 15 and everyone around me is trying to get a boyfriend. Has a boyfriend. Or has had sex. I think this is ridiculous! I don't want children ever! My goal in life is to never have sex or get married. Everyone says that this is weird, but I dont think it is such a bad idea. I have even been considered gay. But, I am not trust me! Everyone says my opinons will change as I get older. But, I dont think they will. I am a horse crazy nut who has big plans for the future. Can you actually be happy without ever dating or having sex?

So, my boyfriend and I have been together for a little oveer a year now. We are both pretty serious about continuing our relationship to a higher level. When we first met we were just casual friends, and co-workers and he told me about his previous life when he lived in a different state. Long story short he has a friend they have been friends since high school and its now 10 years later they still keep in touch. I pushed away the jealous tendencies of a female and let her call the house and so on.
Recently I found out that at one point they were more than friends and if never in a serious relationship they were :friends with benefits". Now i feel uncomfortable with her calling my house. I explained it to him and her and after some bickering he came to understand my point of view.
It's been a couple of months since this conversation and she's emailing em wanting to talk to him . How do i nip this in the butt, and let him know that I am serious!!!!

I am getting married in two weeks, in an evening civil ceremony. My fiance and I would like to have some sort of union ceremony included during our wedding, but don't like the traditional candlelighting or the newer 'sand' ceremonies because they are done so often! Any ideas?

My family (my parents and my siblings) had a falling out with my dad's side of the family when I was about 10. I am now in my 20's and I am meeting some of these people for the first time. It was fine at first, but today I was frustrated

My grandma's sister (my great-aunt) was talking to me today, and basically told me that my dad was at fault for the falling-out. I know it wasnt just my parents fault for making the decision to not have us be around the family anymore. They treated my (adopted) sister like trash, and also treated my mom poorly. My dad stood up for my mom and my sister, and that is why we arent around them anymore. I know that it was a hard decision for him to make, and he did ask them to stop treating them that way, and warned them that we wouldnt stay around with that kind of verbal/emotional abuse...

I didnt say anything because I was shocked and upset, but should I go back and defend my parents, or leave it alone?

Whether you love her more than your mother.

My usual answer would be ' there is a difference in love for a mother and love for a wife. both are different and there can never be a shortage of love for any of them. however my duty definitely comes first towards her i.e.my wife'

insights please...

Can someone please explain this to me...

Why do half the people on this message board talk down and act like they are so much better then the other half?

Most people when it comes to a real, honest sex question, simply respond with "you need to wait until marriage to have sex." This is a moot point because obviously they already had sex and want a real answer but instead get your lecture on waiting till marriage.

Then there are some other people that when teenagers come on the board and ask a dating question, they lecture about being too young to date. Not many people actually want to help people with their questions, they just want to lecture them about what is right and wrong.

Anyone else agree with me?

If u are with a guy & u say stuff like I can't wait until I get a boyfriend because I need things done around my house & he says tell me what you need & I will do it. If u say my child's father is driving me crazy because he thinks I have a boyfriend & then he says well just make sure you don't tell him about me or he says things like (he's a single dad) Let me tell u about my daughter & then he says don't worry u are going to meet her. He came & spent the night at ur townhouse & all of a sudden he tells u he is going to give his notice at his apartment because he is interested in living in a townhouse or house & even ask a few questions about ur subdivision. Last but not least, I watched "The Secret" & I have this vision board of everything I hope to obtain in my life & the wedding ring I want being one of the things on the board. Before I tacked it up he took the paper & read over it for a few minutes then looked at me & smiled. So Can u be in a relationship and not know it?
