Some would say leave your professional life at home on your wedding day... but I say that you both worked hard to get where you are and also that a wedding isn't just about today and tomorrow, but also where you came from. If you want to include your titles, the by all means do so. If not, that too is perfectly fine.
An idea would be to instead of on the invitations, do it on the reception invites (if you are having one) put something like Drs Vincent & Erica Monterri would like you to join them in a celebration after the ceremony.... Or simply have the minister announce you as such when he announces your union after the vows.
Good luck on your big day and God Bless your marriage....

Personally I feel that it's too much brag for me.. Sounds almost as if it's more of a show about professions and a merger of businesses rather then what it really is a wedding..

Have you ever seen anyone else ever put their professions on a wedding invitation?? Theres a place to brag and a place to be real.. Weddings are real... not a place to pump up egos. Your parents will have plenty of time at the reception to brag all they want to all their friends (although most will be turned off by it)

The traditional invitation would say as follows: Dr. for him but not for you.

Mr. & Mrs. John Taylor request the honour of your presence at the marriage of their daughter

Erica Geneivieve
to
Dr. Vincent Anthony Monterri

Your parents are understandably proud of your accomplishments - as they should be - but your professional and educational status doesn't belong on your wedding invitation. Keep it to your names and save the information about your degrees for the newspaper announcement. Your friends already know you both have the right to be addressed as 'Doctor' and don't require reminding.

Congratulations to both of you. Weddings are generally for the celebration of the two people who are going to be spending their lives together, and the fun and celebration of their friends and family who are wishing them all the best.

It is a wonderful accomplishment that you have both attained you doctorates, but that should be in the wedding announcements for the newspapers, not in your invitations.

You do not want to sound cocky and stuck up in your invitations, it will make you sound cold.

Best of luck to you both in the future, both personally and professionally.

I have seen it on wedding invitations and it is appropriate. so whatever you wish as it is your wedding, it is appropriate both ways.

Be proud of your hard work to get the degree. Put it on there.
