Everyone wants love and to be loved. But this society is accepting that people can leave their wives or husbands and kids and continue to be accepted into society as if they have not destroyed the foundation for the kids. I know people in their 40s who still talk about how their parents divorced. But that is few and far in between. Now it will be every other person.

Do people not think that if they accept it and welcome the adulteres into their fold that there is nothing stopping anyone from doing the same with their spouses?

Any sociologists out there?

I am not talking about people who married at 17. This is happening with people who marry at 35 and above. "I 'm not happy" is an acceptable excuse. How about getting therapy to address your unhappiness. You take that with you.

this guy i met 2 yrs. ago and i liked him ever since. then this year he kissed me and we hung out, kissed, and cuddled all night then a week later he got back together with his gf and said he was always in love with her but then y did he break up with her and kiss me and then get back together with her?? plz help me i don't know what to do? i'm a wreck but i can't let anyone know cuz then they'll b mad @ him and won't want me 2 talk 2 him but him and i e-mail back and forth. plz help me i don't know what to do!!??!!!

I know for fact that I am not the romanitc type. I want to be romantic to my wife and I don't know where to start. If I did try to be romantic she thinks I am doing it just for sex. How do I assure to her that I want her to be love mentally not physically. I am planning to drop off my son to my parents' house one Friday night so I can setup this romantic evening for my wife. I was thinking of putting a trail of rose pedals on the ground filling the room with candle lights along with a nice calming music in the background leadling her to the bath tub where on the floor is a single rose representing that she is the one. And in the bathtub the water is warm bubbly waiting for her to rest her naked body in. At the same time dinner is ready for her on the dining table with candle and roses. Tell me what you guys think?

I know sometimes when you say wether you do/dont want kids, you dont really know until you're older. well, i am almost 26yrs and i have been w/my boyfriend for about 5yrs now and i know dam well that i want at least 2 kids, but he had said from the begining and til this day that he will only have one. he had told he friends, and i quote, "she's lucky if she can even squeeze one out from me!" that actually hurt me more than it should. we get along great. yes, we have our issues and fights, but who doesnt? there are things that i dont like about him, and im sure there are things he doesnt like about me, but i dont want to be over 30yrs and either just had one child or still havent got any. am i wasting my time??? i want my boyfriend, i love him w/everything that i am/have, and i KNOW he feels the same, but is there a future?

My wife has trouble having and orgasm for periods of time, probably due to stress at work etc. I asked her if she would try using a vibrator before sex. She agreed to try it, I bought one that only excites her externally, it's been a revelation. Well first we went and saw the simpsons movie. We ran into his ex GF who cheated on him and now she wants him back whatever. She comes up and says wow I see you went down a class in dateing a black women. I was gonna get that B#$@# but he held me back and he was like black women what are you talking about?
She says your dateing a black women! He goes umm no Im dateing an extradornary women and puts his arm around me and we walked away with her standing their wit her mouth to the floor! Then to top it off he brings me back to his APT makes me pasta! ( I love Itilians!) Then we watch tv but Im too tired to drive home so he lets me sleep in his bed while he slept out on the couch! Who else here thinks hes really sweet? Should I keep him? lol

I have been in this situation several times i think but the most hurtful one was when a man who my family had known for years, died suddenly. About a year or so before he died, he had bought a wee mini jukebox from me(he was a bit of a wheeler dealer type of guy)and he always told me one of his daughters loved it and wanted it for herself. Anyway, after the funeral, his son phoned me and told me he wanted me to have the jukebox to remember his dad by, i did suggest he give it to his sister who had like it etc but he insisted. End of story you would think? NOOO. Next thing i know, i mentioned what had happened to my dad and he said he heard i had ASKED FOR IT!!!! So there was someone out there claiming i had went looking for this jukebox just after someone died!! I was horrifed but no matter what i said, the damage was done!!
As for the jukebox...its lying at various places in my house, not being used, taking up space... but i feel i need to keep it now.

How can you say that you have already moved on? I feel like I just can't forgive and forget...I've been in a long realtionship with my ex...we broke up because he really is an A**Hole...and now he tells me to rest in peace (what a real jerk!)...i know he is just so guilty...honestly, I am in a new relationship now with a great man. I went out on a first date with that guy on Saturday. We spent really nice time together, were kissing, after he walked me to my bus, I sent him a txt about nice time spent together and he replied saying the same thing. Now it is Monday and I havent heard from him yet. Is it my turn to txt him first or shall I wait till he does it. Im not sure who is supposed to do that first move. He is aussie - if it would help.

I think there are various different versions of this statement, there's the "I really just see you as more of a mate"... There's the "I've only recently come out of a long-term relationship"... And then there's the classic "I think you're great and really easy to talk to, but....."
Basically, I've met guys who have asked ME out on dates it's gone well and then they've come out with one of these classic one liners... Am I alone in this? I don't seem to have much problem in the initial stages (as in, setting up dates) Perhaps I have a dreadful personality :)

can do it on my own again?

All me and him do is argue and no trust and make life miserable not only for him and me but the kids too.

If I move back with my mom then he might use this against me in court for the kids.

If I stay and get kicked out of my home because i can no longer afford the rent and utilities due to a cut in my financial help then i may have a hard time getting a new place to live with an eviction.

If i move to my moms temporary, then I can continue looking for work and school and take the risk of the kids father taking me to court for the kids due to my moving situation. My two brothers live with mom.

Can you see any other option? Thanks for any feedback.

i'll try keep this short...
during my childhood i moved around quite a lot coz my mam kept getting different jobs. i accepted this as part of life, but we've moved around so much that i've lost a part of me.
i've moved places like 4 times now, and i've just had enough. all my friends live ages away, my new school expects too much from me, and i'm surrounded by nasty people who put me down.
i've told her countless times that i'm unhappy with everything that's going on but she just tells me to accept it and grow up. i can't accept it though. i can't stand being so down every day, but she wants me to feel happy but i can't. i can't be happy just coz she wants me to.
i've told her that i self-harm but she asks for a "rational" reason. i can't get any more rational than that.
i would live with my dad but he hardly has any money to look after himself, let alone me.
i feel like i can't be happy even if i tried coz all my confidence has gone and i feel like i can't get it back

Okay the thing is that my ex & me broke up not too long ago. He told me he wasn’t ready to have a relationship and that he just wanted to be friends nothing more. So this weekend I bump into a co-worked which I though was very attractive. By the end of the night we were both too drunk and we kissed. Now when im back to work I don’t want my ex to find out that I kissed someone else? Because I still have feeling for him. But it hurt me that he broke up with me? So what I did bad? My boyfriend left me for another girl..this is the most horrible thing he could ever do to me. He promised me everything...Now he keeps telling me that he doesn't love me. This "friend" always calls my husband stupid, and you don't know what you're talking about, you're wrong, etc. This "friend" is always right no matter what...and insults my husband's intellegence.
