I have the opposite problem. There's this "thing" that keeps me away from others. Its like this, I know I'm not like most (and I'm damn proud of it), and I don't like like to be around people that would not except me if they knew the real me. And unfortunately, that includes most other people, all the close-minded ones. So that leaves me as one lonely DragonGurl.

i used to feel that same way when i was very shy. Any small glance from someone and i'll think they know my dirty little secrets! But guess what! when i started being a lot more confident about myself a look like that meant nothing to me anymore.
It's good got to do with confidence and self-esteem. Maybe you could try going out more often and interacting with people then you'll get used to things like that and build up your own confidence

Read more about "vibes" and energy. I know it sounds New Agey but I believe that we all give off vibes to people. If we feel sad or resentment about something we repel those people who aren't like that and we attract people who are. Do you ever notice people who like to pick fights seem to always have bad things happen for them to fight about? Or people who have low self-esteem will tend to attract people who take advantage of them. If it's people you want to attract, look at what's going on inside you.

The fact I seem to have Social Anxiety disorder and I feel like look a monster probably has nothing to do with it.

I totaly know what you mean. I feel that I could have a boyfriend but there is just somthing about me that they hate or something that I dont know about. It drives me nuts.

My cat instinct tells me that you are mistaken, you do not have that "thing".
