I'm getting married on August 11th, 2007. My wedding song is going to be "When God Made You" by NewSong. It's a contemporary Christian band. They lyrics are beautiful. I'm not sure how I'm going to make it through the song and not cry. Here is a link to the lyrics. http://www.lyricsdemon.com/73234/newsong-f-natalie-grant/when-god-made-you/

I don't know if these are songs that someone can sing or not...I suppose they could. I suck at singing, so I wouldn't know.
However, a lot of these were from the playlist at our wedding. I was into the 80's hairband scene and now am a country music fan (and my playlist reflects that). Maybe this will help a little:
Slow Songs:
Love of a Lifetime – Firehouse
When I Look Into Your Eyes – Firehouse
Little Moments – Brad Paisley
Without You – Motley Crue
Angel – Aerosmith
Love of My Life – Sammy Kershaw
If There Hadn’t Been You – Billy Dean
From This Moment On – Shania Twain
When Somebody Loves You – Alan Jackson
Wonderful Tonight – Eric Clapton
She’s Everything – Brad Paisley
God Must Have Spent a Little More Time on You – Alabama (my fav) or N’ Sync
We Danced – Brad Paisley
Let’s Make Love – Faith Hill & Tim McGraw
More than Words – Extreme
When I See You Smile – Saigon Kick
Amazed – Lone Star
Can’t Stop Fallin’ In Love – Cheap Trick
Faithfully – Journey
Keeper Of the Stars – Tracy Byrd
Remember When – Alan Jackson
Open Arms – Journey
I Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing – Aerosmith or Mark Chesnutt
It’s Your Love – Faith Hill & Tim McGraw
I Cross My Heart – George Strait
I Wan’t To Grow Old With You – Adam Sandler (scary, I know)
I’ll Make Love To You – Boyz II Men
I Loved Her First – Heartland (excellent Dad-Daughter song)
Butterfly Kisses – Bob Carlisle (another excellent Dad-Daughter song)
Fast Songs:
Talk Dirty To Me – Poison
Born To Be My Baby – Bon Jovi
Brown Eyed Girl – Van Morrison
????
I Remember You – Skid Row (a great love song, but maybe not wedding appropriate)
Gett Off – Prince (always thought it would be a great gag song, but not sure it would be appropriate)
