this guy and i had been holding hands and flirting alot. about 2 weeks or so then i heard he was going to ask me out.
Then out of the blue he ask out another girl everyone was surprised. but like a month later he was talking to my best friend and said he made a mistake and was dumb for going out with the other girl.
so what i am getting at is does that mean he likes me or not?

you're not alone lol he probably did make a mistake however you should be careful if ur going to give him a chance cuz he might just be playing games

It sounds like he is a player, or, he is just dumb and he doesn't know what he wants. It doesn't matter whether he likes you or not. Why? Because you deserve a lot better than that. From the way I see it, he was already seeing the other girl. He was holding hand and flirting with her too while doing the same to you. You deserve a lot better. So, forget about him and find somebody else who is worth your time.

It may mean that he likes you, but obviously he didn't like you enough with to asks you out first. So if and when he does, bring up the other girl. Find out y he asked her first. And what he is looking for. Take as much time u need to feel comfortable about him.

He sounds immature and dumb. I'm sure he liked you but was an idiot and thought that maybe he would make you jealous OR maybe he thought he was gonna be a player and flirt with YOU, but BE with the other girl. Wrong move dude.

He probably did/does like you but he thought he wasnt good enough for you, or he didn't want to reck the friendship you guys have... ask him? Find out what his feelings are..it's alot easier...
If he knows he made a mistake, that is good. I would think that he still has feeling for you...

Guys take a while to get a hang of the whole dating/love/crush thing. It sounds like he likes you still, and realized too late that you were nicer to be with than girl #2.

It sound like you are both young and this means do not place a lot of worry on this. You will date dozens of guys (maybe a hundred) before you get engaged. Relax. He'll be back and don't hold it against. Remember, he came back to YOU!

yes it does mean that he likes u. He had already admitted to the mistake about asking out that other girl, and that that other girl should have been u, so yes he does like u maybe u should start talkin to him

well to me it sounds that he just wanted to get close to you so that he can get into your pant but that did not happen and so he went for some other girl. I would be careful with this guy. You can still take to him cause i maybe wrong but still be careful

Your confused because he is confused himself. Doesn't sound like he knows what he wants. You could go ahead and date him,but how surea re you that he is not going to break up with you because he's intersted in datying someone else?
