Here is the thing, me and my ex are good friends but he's married..we talk all the time, email and text almost everyday, but we don't ever hang out we ran into eachother at a party one night ( he wasn't w/the wife) and he told me if he had his way we would be together, also bring up the times and places that we've had sex, not just that but tells me that i'm at the top of his list what do you think?

I live in NY while my cousin lives in Florida. He's currently visiting and will be staying with us for the summer until the school term begins. Although he does interact and converse with us every now and then, he for the most part, stays on his laptop until 4 AM every night doing things like surfing the web and playing mmorpg - which is ok except that he could have just stayed home and have done that. The irony is that he purposely came here because he wanted to get away from the suburbs which he has even described as a "prison".

We're in the same age-group and there's plenty of things he could do in the house if he was bored - I have a big collection of movies, video games, etc. that I've pointed out to him. So it just irks me that he chooses to just stay on the laptop all day doing the same things he could've done if he stayed in his "prison" home.

Am I making something out of nothing or do I have the right to be offended?

the world's expectations have dropped so low?
College guys who do not have something that prevents me from dating them (g/f, b/f, cigs, drugs, a worthless major, etc) are generally amazing and they know it.

They tend to be stuck-up players who have a ton of options and don't plan on settling any time soon and date models/geniuses in the meantime. I'm just an ave. girl. Do I have to settle? It seems like the only guys who want a smart/conservative girl are religious zealots.

I may believe in God, but I have trouble getting along with religious fanatics (like I can't listen to Christian radio 24/7, sorry), and everyone else is 180* opposite-they think I'm too shy and too religious-What? Because I don't drink and I don't sleep around? How am I just going to find a nice, normal boy who has faith but is not overly religious, who is smart, funny, ambitious, and just likes hanging out-nothing complicated?

How much is too much? I m 27 and recently I meet someone I guess he is 43 to 45, not sure the exact age but should be over 40. It got me to think, is it too much? My ex was 11 years older than me, but it seems that twenty something and forty something...sound big difference, so I m just curious to know what other people think about age difference. Thanks.

so, I just found out my sister-in-law is pregnant. Their first kid, my first nephew/neice. So, what are the rules and regulations of unclehood? I figure it's my job to spoil the kid rotten, right?

An old friend of mine just moved back to my town in Jersey from Boston. We were really close years ago before he moved, but have drifted apart since then. When we ran into each other at the restaurant I am a waitress at, we were both excited and he kissed me. It was a peck and a purely friendly kiss. I know that "it take's two to kiss" but, it's not like I initiated it. I didn't kiss back and I am even the one who stopped it and pulled away. True, I hugged him right after, but I mean, IT WAS JUST A HUG. But, my boyfriend was visiting me and sitting at a booth with all of his friends. They all saw the kiss and my boyfriend has been angry with me ever since. He thinks it was more than just a friendly kiss between two friends. Do you think I did something wrong? Do you think he's sorrect in being pissed off? Any advice on getting him to forgive me? Thank youu =)!

ok... so there are three of us who WEREinseperable. We did everything together for about 3 years. well, we soon became distant. I am the one who thinks clear, one of them is more of a rebel and the other is a cheerleader who is more of a party person. we all have a year in between us, me in the middle. one graduated a year before me and the other is a senior this year. and soon, our differences got between us.

We stopped talking for a while and it was hard on me. There were the two I could always count on. We did EVERYTHING together. And we have recently started talking and are thinking of making plans together. is this smart? or will we just get hurt again?

My mom has a serious gambling problem, and she's not a very happy person overall. I think a lot of people get annoyed by her. However, she is my mom, and I'm afraid she is going to blow all her money and end up with nothing. She spent her 2nd mortgage money and now is starting to draw from her retirement.

How do I get help for her? Where do I start? I live about 8 hours away, so I'm not very close. I work for a living, but I just started a new job, so I don't have that much money to spend. My mom has started to ask my sister for money.

I really want to tackle her REAL problem which is gambling...not money. Anyone gone through this? I want my mom to get better!

I was very cruel to someone, verbally. It doesn't matter that I'm right about some of it, that I was angry coz I want things to be better for them. And...I feel I can't help after all sometimes.... It was still wrong and it can't just be taken back.... Crap.

I am writing a letter to my boyfriend. He is in canada, and i want to tell him how i feel. I think it sounds corny, but it's truly how i feel. So tell me if i should change it, and if yes. Tell me how else to put it nicely. Here's the phrase that i have originally written : -

No one has come up with a word to describe what i am feeling for you, because i feel so much more than these words... I Love You!

My ex husband and I had been seperated since 1997. We married in 1992 and were very young ( first love ). It had been a rather abusive relationship and I never filed for divorce simply because I did not want him to find out where I was. I was afraid that he would find me. I just found out today that he passed away last week after an illness. As we were never divorced, am I his widow? He had a new "wife" ( common law) partner and I would never disrespect her and her grieving. I am simply wondering for when I need to file income tax reports or other legal forms.
Anyone have any idea ? ( I live in Canada and would fall under Canadian law)

I hate myself sometimes. There is this guy I like, and he just told me he likes me and everything. And I confessed too. But I told him that I wanted to wait and see if feelings will change or anything. But i'm still living in that stupid fairytale I built up where he confesses his love with so much beauty. All he said was that I nice, beatifull, funny and he loved to be with me and such. But....I don't know i'm still in that part where i've always dreamed of a guy takeing my breathe away as he said his feelings and such. I can't tell if he's holding back or not. But am I wrong for wanting fantasy to become a reality? Am I just a stupid girl for thinking like this. It's just that I don't wan to be in relationship when I feel like it's not going to be real because I don't want to hurt him. And he deserves better than me anyways.

What should I get for a couple who just got engaged? I have been invited to the engagement party but don't know the bride very well. She's extremely nice and I'm honored to be invited but I have no idea what to get them. I was thinking maybe a set of champagne flutes? I don't know?

I don't want to spend more than $50. I would like it to be nice (preferably from Tiffany or something like that) because they are well-heeled.

Suggestions would be helpful.

how would you go about telling someone that you don't want more out of your relationship with them, but you enjoy their company and still want to see them?
and guys: if a girl told you this would it turn you off of them all together?

I just started dating someone that I have known for years but never really "known". (His family and mine were always together when we were younger for sports) We are very knew at the dating thing and have yet to put any labels on our situation. He recently moved home to help his dad out who he just found out passed away this last weekend while he was on vacation. I've been there for friends who have lost loved ones but this is so different for me. I'm not really sure how to act or what my role is. I guess I somewhat wanted a guys perspective on how they'd want the girl they "just" started seeing to treat them. I can do the friendly, I'm hear to listen, thing but is there anything more I can offer him?

I just want to know more on the subject because I'm basically clueless. =P
There's a girl I like, but she doesn't know I like her...I think. But I want to know if any of these are signs of her liking me.
-Talking to me more often than other girls do
-She usually start conversations with me more than I do.
-(This was on the last day of school) Breaking away from talking with a group of friends to say Goodbye to me.
-Asking questions that don't really seem to be needed.
-This may seem silly, but we made these little projects, that tied in with our studies, in class to represent ourselves and she asked if she could have mine. ( I said Yes)

So are any of those signs? Or are they just friendly signs?
Once again I'm kinda clueless, so...
~Thanks =)
