Two kinds of women do that. There's the ones that really do want the security of not having to commit to him because he's already committed to his wife, and that is actually attractive to them. They have the freedom they need, and can break it off whenever they are ready to. The other ones are looking for a husband, and they figure if he already is one, he must have done something right to land his current wife, so they want him. A man should always beware of this type of woman, because 100% of the time she has already been rejected by every single man she has dated, so you know she has issues.

Women want what they can't have. Women are so competitive and back stabbing to each other.. they want to prove to everyone that they can and will get it... no matter what it is.. if that is what they so choose. I think that women who go after married men are pigs. Women who try to get with married men are the lowest form of people... because as a women we all pretty much want the same thing... a true and loving husband, and a family.. so when a woman goes in and uses her evil powers to persuade a married man to cheat... and ruins families .. all I can hope for is that all those nasty women die alone with nothing and no one... There are enough unmarried men in the world to go around.

This could be a bogus answer but here's my opinion. In some cases women enjoy a challange just as much men do, when it comes to the dating game. So maybe for some women getting/seducing a married man is the ultimate challenge conquered. Or one other theory, the great thing about a married man is he's another woman's responsibility she can deal with all the idiosyncracies etc...that comes with dealing with the opposite sex.

A couple of reasons. The desire for the forbidden (gets us everytime!) and maybe a girl who just wants to mess around and doesn't think anything serious will happen, hence going after a guy who is taken. Sometimes married men will act like they're the victim of a bad relationship, and a single girl will feel sorry for him. That's a sure way for a girl to find a married guy.

In my opinion most married men and women do a lot of emotional cheating. They don't intentionally look to do any real cheating they are just looking for the flirting and conversation that seems to get lost in a marriage but what happens is that the single person they are talking to becomes interested and pushes to take things farther.

I don't believe that more women go after men who are married. I do believe it's a sin and situation of opportunity and lack of self esteem. Married men are easy if they are putting themselves on the market and women who are seeing less opportunity in the open market fall prey easily.

because they can mainly. The thrill of a challenge. They seem more appealing and harder to work for and get.
Just my opinion, I hate women who do those kinds of things I think its rather despicable to go after someone who is married when there are other eligible single people. Why would you want to ruin a marriage or a family, cause trouble in a relationship...
Even if it isn't a happy marriage,. Why cause more pain and hard feelings...

Social proof. They figure if he can get one woman, he can satisfy others.
Some women would rather share a "winner" (married guy) than have all of a "loser" (single man). I'd be the last person to tell you it's right, but that mentality does exist.

It is the chase or the game. The sneaking around and trying not to get caught. Or it could be that they do not want the commitment so they play it safe and find someone in a relationship who is only in it for the physical attraction.

Because all the good guys are taken?
=]
I think it goes back to the 'we all want what we can't have' idea. If another lady thought he was good enough to get married to, the unmarried lady automatically thinks he is too, since someone else said it as well. Catch my drift??
