the world's expectations have dropped so low?
College guys who do not have something that prevents me from dating them (g/f, b/f, cigs, drugs, a worthless major, etc) are generally amazing and they know it.

They tend to be stuck-up players who have a ton of options and don't plan on settling any time soon and date models/geniuses in the meantime. I'm just an ave. girl. Do I have to settle? It seems like the only guys who want a smart/conservative girl are religious zealots.

I may believe in God, but I have trouble getting along with religious fanatics (like I can't listen to Christian radio 24/7, sorry), and everyone else is 180* opposite-they think I'm too shy and too religious-What? Because I don't drink and I don't sleep around? How am I just going to find a nice, normal boy who has faith but is not overly religious, who is smart, funny, ambitious, and just likes hanging out-nothing complicated?

Never lower your expectations for a future husband. And your belief in God is not based on listening to Christian music 24/7. Stick to your values, and beliefs, and wait for God to introduce you to your future husband. Some great guy is waiting for you as much as you are waiting for him, but you need to let God do his thing with you as a single person...Now you are asking how you will meet your dream man...??? Go out, have a great time with friends both guys and girls. Go out in groups, and just look at the kinda man each person you meet is. Will he provide for you spiritually and financially. Will he lead you in a Godly relationship with. If I still have your attention, please Pray and be patient. My last date was 5 years ago. i have been single since. I would be lying to you if I did not want female companionship, I do but like I said am waiting for God. I know I am corny. But that is me. Oh and I am not religious, I do not like religion. I have a relationship with God.

I think we all set the bar high. I am 21 year old college senior going to law school next year and I have a hard time finding a girl because people say I am too mature or intimidating. I admit I am mature in the sense I want love not sex, but what is so intimidating about a guy who is intelligent and well groomed? I only seem to get future gold diggers who are physically attractive, but not attractive in many others ways. What is so hard about finding an intelligent girl who is cute and has some style/class.

Remember you are not alone and there are plenty of guys looking for a good girl who is intelligent and not trashy.

I dont think you have to settle for anyone! you will know when you meet the right person - and you wont mind if they have some habbits you dont share because you will like them for who they are rather than the choices they make.
