No one has come up with WORDS to describe what I am feeling for you. I feel so much more than these words...I LOVE YOU! Canada? Draw this picture...dark gray clouds, rain, a male and female holding hands under an umbrella, rain from the clouds to the umbrella, hearts from under the umbrella to the grass. Write "You are my umbrella" in the rain. Write, "When I am with you" over the umbrella, and finally "it never rains" in the heart field.

After reading and re-reading the above 'composition' of love, i sit back and think a bit: for, some passage i have come across in sanskritic romance writing or writings, vaguely surfaces in my mind's screen! Kalidasa: the comparison is not exaggerated, it is rather spontaneous! (that passage roughly translates thus: ".....words of greatest import and power are but inadequate to express my love for you.....") Perhaps in Tamil literature also you could find some parallels, because Tamil is by nature, most suited for romantic and gentle and most sincere expressions! (so also, Bengali, i believe!). Mark Twain, who spent three months in India, said after some effort to understand India: "....Anything that can ever be done either by man or God, has already been done in this land!....." Great depths of love have been, in their greatest depths, discovered and experienced in personal explorations in zones of emotions relating to real life in this land, and expressed most eloquently in works of art and literature, for people like Mark Twain to realise in their researches: and now, after a few centuries of all that, at some point of the repeating cycles of those lofty human experiences, YOU have independently re-created a small piece from that old voluminous ocean-size treasure of great literature resulting spontaneously from human experience, from mind's limitless potential to feel and express! There is no way anyone would rephrase that one piece for you : you might be able to do that in another intense moment, even that i doubt! (other intense moments may result in other creations!). So, let me go back to the "question" and re-read to see if i can more accurately recapture the old works lying'minimised' somewhere in storage in my memory, with the help of this creation, which is an amazing example of how we humans are consistent in some essential aspects of our culture and thinking and expressions, through centuries, through millions of years! (here's a quote, a simple one, recent, from John Lennon: "...For i don't care too much for money/For money can't buy me love...." this quote also came back to me, for some reason, when i re-read your piece above!)

Don't seek advise to explain how you feel. What you write is your own words and are more important than what anyone else wants to put in... Pour out your heart sweetie

Don't change a thing! It's from your heart and says what you feel for him. (I'd just capitalize all of the "I"s...) I hope he feels the same way and that you two live happily ever after.
:)
