I'm 22 and I have been alone for years and have decided to take latin dance classes to meet girls. I am so afraid that all the girls there will be angry at me for wanting to dance with them and will just want to dance by themselves (like they do in nightclubs). What are the chances that they will be hostile towards me if I show up?

i love my wife more than life itself we have had some problems in the past and have always found a way to get through them and still have a strong bond but this time there is a chill in the air and we both have issues that we need to work on. months ago she wanted me to go to see some body and try to find a answer, and i told her we could figure this out but we went along and i thought that we were ok but then i got blind sided and she tells me she needs some time and space to think, now she goes to school and works and i stand behind her 100% and am there for her in what ever way she needs. i do every thing around the house so all she has to do is come home and relax. i try to have something for her to eat when she gets here. i feel that she still loves me and wants our bond to get better i have faced my problems and have corrected them. i found out that i had diebtes and that was a root to alot going on with me. i joined a gym and work out a few times a week and i have lost 22 pounds

My friend competes with me on everything - women, money, possessions, status... EVERYTHING! It makes him look so insecure and pathetic that it embarrasses me. His girlfriends over the years have talked to me about it - saying he always talks about me, so much, that it freaked them out. He has so much going for him, he has no reason to be jealous of me or my life. I'm very popular amongst our mutual friends and in the community, so I think that causes some of his resentment. Recently, I've been going through some big changes and have been needing a friend. He will only be there for me if it makes him look good.

I'm feeling like giving up on him. We've been friends for 10 years, but he feels toxic.

I spoke with him about all this, but he blew it off, saying he loved me and that I was just being a baby.

What would you do?

I am going to the movies this wednesday with a guy and I can't wait!!! We both like each other a lot but we aren't dating. We hang out a lot so I am used to being just him and me. We both aren't afraid to get close though. He tried to kiss me once but I wasn't ready. So I really want to kiss him at the movies. (making out) I am pretty sure he wants to too. The problem is that I have never kissed at the movies. Does it look bad? Where should we sit? What if people are sitting close to us and we really don't have a chance? Would it be better to watch the movie then go outside and kiss after it is over? Any ideas?? Thanks.

i was with my ex boyfriend for about 6 months he was the first guy i ever had sex with and i was very attached to him but we broke about six months ago. Ok, Im a chemical engineering major that will be transferring from a C.C. to either one of these two universities. I have always wanted to attend UCLA but its too heavily populated. I also always wanted to see other parts of the U.S. and USF would allow me to do that.

If you were in my situation, which one would you choose and why?

Ok, I found out that USF has a 5 year program for chemical engineering undergrads, this means that after senior year, I take graduate level courses for a year which the advantage is that the courses are double counted and after Im done with that, I have a Masters, UCLA has no program like that.

If in my situation, would you go to USF?

I'm a single mother of 4 children. 2 girls 8 and 16, and two boys 10 and 11. The only thing I could afford was a two bedroom apartment. When we moved in they got the master bdrm with the walk in closet and the 1/2 bath. and I took the small bedroom. They all have beds of their own. (bunk beds) Their own dressers and there is a partition down the middle of the room so that they can have some semblance of privacy. It's like two small bdrms in a large room. My mother however is peeved at not seeing her grand children more since she lives in Jackson and we live in Grand Rapids, and is threatening to call the local cps if we do not move closer to her. Like anyone with children when you hear those letters you freak out. Well, before freaking out I plan on doing the research but need help getting in the right direction. We live in Michigan. Not sure if it is a federal or state law. So Please shove me in the right direction if you can. Thank you.

I am in Singapore & hubby is in Costa Rica for 2 weeks.His father & my parents met for the first time today in Singapore which is a big deal in my culture but hubby seem to have forgotten it eventhough its a weekend today. why would a guy want to get married to a woman that has kids from a previous relationship.

1st off, you would have to deal with the ex on a regular basis, and his family. Or worst the kid was a baby from a one night fling...sounds like you have a real winner huh?

Also- you have to deal with the kid, and you know how kids don't get along with the parents once the hormones kick in? Imagine hearing " f*ck you, your not MY dad" on a regular basis.

Also- these days with the economy what it is, you only have enough money to raise one or two kids. If you raise somebody elses kid, you are denying yourself the ability to have your own kid.

Or if you have another kid that is yours, how do you not favor your child?

Her husband always gets her pregnant & he waits until she gets pregnant to beat her up & then leave her & cheat on her for young teenage girls & set her up to get raped by his friends during each pregnancy because he's using her past rape situations against her. Yes she was repeatedly raped in the past. & then she complains about how he does her wrong, & she takes him back. When she takes him back, she tries to hide away from people because she's afraid that we're gonna think negatively of her or call her stupid. She just had a baby, & I just found out that she took him back, after she said she promised she'd never take him back again. & he got her in all kinds of trouble, & she keeps forgiving him, but she holds a lifelong grudge against her own family, especially me, just behind false rumors my family has made against me. Why does she keep taking him back? If he doesn't kill her, he'll set somebody else up to do it. He already hit her upside the head with a wrench while pregnant.

I have noticed from bank statements that my husband has withdrawn over $1600 within 2 weeks and nothing to show for it. It is not from bills or gas money as he uses his debit card for it. What could he be doing with the money.....it hasn't been used to buy anything at our home either and we haven't gone out for him to spend it. any suggestions, and no, it's not drugs because he has a heart condition, and it's not gambling because he hates to gamble. Serious replies only please. We have been having marital problems and I would like to think it's not for another woman.

I was driving the car and next to me was my little son who is 9 years old. I complimented him and he was like "oh okay" with a smile on his face, and suddenly a not so good smell came. I'm wondering which one of your parents was the disciplinarian? Which one did you respect more as a kid and which one do you have a better relationship with now?

I grew up with two older brothers. Dad was the disciplinarian, mum was more of a softie. We obeyed Dad more as we knew he meant business. Some might say we respected him more, some might say we were more scared of him, I think it was a bit of both. He would smack us, not all the time but not infrequently, while my mum hardly ever did. My brothers also got the belt very occasionally for really serious things (this was in the late 80s/early 90s). I never did, I think because I was a girl, although I was threatened with it a couple of times.

My oldest brother was always close to my dad. The middle one used to clash with dad a LOT (they get on okay now, but still not brilliantly, although my brother now admits he used to be a pain) and I'm probably closer to my mum because I'm a girl. What about everyone else?
